All great points really. I don't really think Rask suffered the same Trauma as Hemlock in his surviving the Cull, I think what she suffered is an extended and much more personal loss that I think Rask could relate to but never fully grasp.

Want she seems to want is the destruction of all not like her or other herbivores. The fact she is willing to do anything to protect the stone hollow makes me wonder if that includes getting rid of Oren if she finds his thinking too lax against carnivores or gets annoyed he won't take her advice.

2020-03-31 01:15:18 +0000 UTCThat’s the thing I love about this comic series, Everyone does have a point in their own ways behind what they do, nobody is “good” or “evil”, and the story doesn’t tell you who’s in the right or who’s in the wrong, it’s ultimately up to the reader to decide. It’s understandable for Rask to think hemlock is straight up crazy, but on the other hand, anyone would be if they experienced what Hems had experienced. Maybe, since Rask did survive the Cull, identically to what Hemlock survived, he understands Hemlock Has been through better than anyone else does, even if he doesn’t yet realize it.
