Patreon Hiatus
Added 2021-07-02 02:28:21 +0000 UTCHey y'all, I'm gonna be suspending billing for at least August, and maybe passed that depending. A combination of things has made me feel like I can't dedicate the time I'd like to to Patreon right now. Lately I haven't had interest in the sorts of illustrations that I think people are following me for right now, and I'd like to try and use this month to rebrand a bit and change things.
I think doing commission work for so long without a good break has left me pretty burnt out on it. A lot of the work I've done for commissions hasn't reflected what I'd really like to draw or my interests as an artist. Because of this, I end up spending a lot of time worrying about what my 'audience' expects to see instead of what I want to make, and it's affected my passion and my drive to create, especially for myself. Unfortunately I also feel that I've overworked myself a bit with my Patreon rewards, and if/when I re-open I'll be restructuring rewards. There are other outside factors that have definitely been affecting my ability as well, and I'll be honest that I've been struggling a lot with my depression in the past couple months.
Basically, I want to take a break to change things up, rework patreon, rework my pages, kind of soft reset some things. Interests change, and I don't want to feel constrained on what I create based on what I've created up until this point.
Sketches will still be done- I apologize for the lateness, PLEASE DM me again with your request so I can make a proper list of what I owe everyone. This includes everyone I missed last month, so feel free to request something with two characters or a full body, etc. As always, thanks for the support and the patience until now. ❤
