Damn, sorry for EU guys for uploading this quite late for them - one streamer I like a lot is finishing Outer Wilds DLC today and I legit has been loosing my sleep to watch it. (6-8 hours in two days lulz).
ANYWAY, with that set I kinda wanted to show my thought process while making the set. First, I figure out the character. Anis, who was my favorite when Nikke released and surprised me with the attention she got (I thought it was Rapi who'll be the fan favorite tbh).
Okay, we got the character. Next? Setting, and with setting we pick the clothing - the order can be reversed, but these two are always important. So I picked something alright, something bright - a park. Did, like, 70 images, picked some, but then I'm like
"Damn, that background is bright yet boring as hell" - so I... tweaked at first. Made it to early evening (last 4 pics of park)... but then I'm like - "What am I doing? Anis has nice design that fits what I'm doing here". So, again, clothing -> setting. Her normal outfit. Where would she use it? A: Combat; B: base chill. So I kind of tried to replicate the militarish outpost style.
Then what? Well, Anis has a great booty.
Honestly, the hardest part is sustaining the background. Background gives correct lighting (very important), and correct atmosphere. So, if I add stuff that makes the background - background (lamp, screens, holo-screens, broken walls - then I can't properly make a "From above" view because it will just turn into a fish-eye or will throw everything onto floor in a weird way.
But I love it too. To me it feels like a little bit of engineering (my profession) in my hobby.
