After weeks of surveillance, it was time to confront the newest lead. He looked to be the weakest link in the group - easy to overpower and manipulate.
Mik-e had been careful not to be too obvious - the people she was searching for would kill and ask questions later - but her current state was already an attention magnet, along with other disadvantages that she hoped would go away soon.
In a swift move, she pinned the weakling to the wall using her massive, heavy middle, taking the breath out of her target. Mik-e inquired about the location of their main hideout - a gun pointed right to the head and a blade pressing through his left hand as motivation to speak. He pleaded for his life but did not budge. She was too close to playing these kinds of games, and she would get the information no matter the cost. She has been away from her son long enough - nothing would stop her.
A gunshot resonated through the alleyway…
