Quality of Life Update - Smoother, Faster, and Smarter

Hey everyone!

This time I don’t have a huge new gameplay system to show you, but there’s still a lot packed into this update that makes the extension better than ever. Here’s what’s new:

• 🐞 Bug fixes, as always - last time I fixed the issue when TJC would trigger video seeking while writing comment, but it seems it got too benevolent and now sometimes it did not seek at all, so I hope this time it will be fixed for good.

• 🐞 More bug fixes, well not technically a bug, more like a design issue, the request syncing button is now hidden for videos that are already synced - like why would you want to sync a synced video right? Makes no sense.

• 🎬 New in/out transitions - elements now blend with the video much more naturally, making the overall experience feel smoother and less “overlayed.”

• ⚡ Big performance boost - especially noticeable on really slow devices, where occasional lagging could occur.

• 🔧 ScriptMaster standalone integration - even though it’s no longer part of the extension itself, it can now open extension settings, activate premium features, and comes with new capabilities.

  • ⚠️ Limitations still apply: it won’t persist in incognito mode (data will be lost on close), and data is stored in the site’s local storage (so in theory, the site could read it).

And as mentioned in the last update:

• 🔑 Conditional actions are now premium features. Videos can still be watched without membership, but some actions will be disabled even though you would met a condition for unlocking.

  • Don’t worry - I don’t want to be too greedy. Even the lowest tier unlocks all premium features.

This update is all about making things smoother, faster, and more future-proof while also taking the first real step into properly separating free and premium features.
