Office Assistant

So, for the past couple of weeks, I've been learning a brand new (to me) software called Maya. To test out my knowledge, I whipped up this week's render for you all fully in Maya!
It's been quite a process, but I'm getting to the point where I'm comfortable enough with the software to finish up that new lion character I mentioned before! Gonna continue working on him tonight! He still needs textures, fur and a rig, but WOW I'm excited. It'll be the most high-detail character I've ever done! And fur is an exciting development! I'm looking forward to doing many treasure trails and fuzzy tummies!

It’s definitely pricey. But I’ve come to realize that Blender’s package features (fluid solver, cloth simulator, hair grooming system) are just massively, almost unusably worse. So I cancelled my Houdini subscription and got Maya instead. With Houdini, I still had to build everything in Blender, and then export it out, run the sims in Houdini and out it all back into Blender. Now I can do everything in a single app, which is awesome ^.^
