Unlike the original books, I haven't read the book for the new series, so I don't know how things will go in the long run (and not spoilers please if anyone reading this knows!) But at least for where we're at in the story so far, I thought a forced bow to the heir to the throne would be a pretty fitting position for Alicent. :) Glad you like how this entry into the YID-GoT series turned out.
