Enemies in Transit

The fourth winner from the July character poll is "Artist's Choice"! Patron Essex Romero had the fun idea to just leave a slot up to me this month, and so I took it. I've actually wanted to play with Baroness and Scarlett from classic GI Joe for quite a long time now, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to finally work them in.  Hope some of you will enjoy it, as these two were a blast to work with. Perhaps we'll see more of them in the future....maybe they'll even get some variations of their uniforms when they get wherever they're going?
I'm including an isolated version of the main girls here as well, since there's a lot going on around them in the main pin-up.

You're welcome! Yeah, your passion and enthusiasm for the franchise and characters really comes across in this piece, and it's all the better for it. As well, I actually wouldn't mind if you took a slot for yourself each month going forward. I wouldn't want you to get burned out doing nothing but drawing other peoples' suggestions, and it's always neat to see what projects you come up with. Regardless, keep up the great work!

The Phoenix King

Thanks! I have such a soft spot for these characters so I'm glad there are others who enjoy seeing them, and appreciate my interpretation. And you gotta love a couple sworn enemies forced to spend some quality time together...

Yes-I-Did

Yeah the captor is a mystery! But at least we get to enjoy the captives.

Very nice work here, your Baroness in particular is just gorgeous. The concept of two sworn enemies bound and gagged together like is something I never knew I needed, so overall, great job!

The Phoenix King

Always love seeing the Baroness in bondage, wonder who the captor was but we'll never know I suppose :)

Iza

They'll certainly be more comfortable...

Loved the cartoon, comics and toys growing up and still have a soft spot for the characters, so I of course love a chance to work with them. Glad you enjoy how it turned out...gotta love a couple rivals forced to spend some "quality" time together. Hopefully we'll have a chance for further scenes!

Yes-I-Did

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Yes-I-Did

Thanks, and thanks for the suggestion! It was fun to have an excuse to work with some characters that I otherwise might not have taken time away from the poll to work on. Glad you like the results. (And bonus points for working a pun in there.)

Yes-I-Did

Thanks! Who knows, maybe they'll have a chance to lose their boots in some future misadventure.

Yes-I-Did

I've never watched GI Joe, but I've seen a lot of kinky art with these two characters, and it is always a lot of fun to see Scarlett in trouble, especially when Baroness is also involved. Don't know why, but have a soft spot for these two. Think you've done a great job. There's a lovely sense of discomfort, both from the difficult circumstances and of being tied against a mortal enemy. I'd love to see what happens next. Sounds like a fun misadventure!

Second of Many

It's a lot of fun to see these two stuck and having to work together. The expressions help with the storytelling and the added dialogue from the other goofs really add a great spark of humor to the proceedings. Glad to see you get to have fun with something you wanted to see! :D

As rewarding as it is to work from audience suggestions, it's so important as a creator to get to follow your imagination. We love your artwork so much that we want to pay you for it, but that can sometimes leave an artist's hands feeling tied when it comes to what projects you spend your time on. Pun absolutely intended, by the way. Anyways, I'm glad you picked my idea - I mean, err, YOUR idea! - because it was super fun to see something unexpected crop up that you personally just had a hankering for. Great art as always. Thanks for being so generous with your fans!

I love it! Pity they didn't lose their boots though.
