April Status Update

Greetings everyone!
As usual i like to talk about what has been done this last month of Development. 

Today i like to let our Composers talk a little as there has been huge ammount of Progress been made so here is a small Status update from our Music Team:

Part 1 of the score rework has just been completed. 

-Our old method involved having every part of the map assigned a huge list of generalized tracks for the whole map. 

This is no longer the case now as the Commonwealth has been reverted back to a more vanilla approach. 

This means huge chunks of the map will now have their own uniquely tailored soundtracks. 

-Right now Part 1 contains the meat of the rework, a lot of unique tracks built for each region of the map. 

This means that now it’s more uniquely tailored for the environment you’re in. 

So basically in the northern part of the map will have unique music while the downtown city area of Boston will have it’s own. 

About roughly 24 new tracks have been produced. This literally has been a 3 month labor between three artists. 

Screaminglake, myself (Jade/DoctorRipper/Piglet), and CellHell. 

So you’re probably wondering, ”Well shit that’s pretty cool. So is it coming into the episode 3 update?” Eh….probably not.

While those 24 tracks look like a lot, half of them are also tailored for night time in the different regions. 

So that means you have roughly 12 during day or time. Now divide that by 3 each. You would have only three possible songs to hear per region depending on the time of day.

Part 2 is creating the inbetweens for these ambience tracks to give your ears a break. 

Then faction music, then fucking filling so many cracks! ITS A HUGE OVERHAUL GUYS! SO MUCH!

Episode 3:

As for Episode 3 I am right now Alpatesting the Release candidate (without Voiceactor lines) in order to make sure it will work with Vanilla Fallout 4 and then we will go in open Beta for all of our Discord and Patron members!!
