september update

it's september now! it's still really hot out but i'm trying to persevere through the awful weather 💦

here are my plans for this month:

• marron game!!!!!!!! since i was working on pet shop update a lot last month i didn't get much done on this... i'm still working to port it to gb studio 3.0 and it's VERY SLOW & TEDIOUS work! this is going to be my main focus again for now
• trying to release some more games on gog! right now i only have A YEAR OF SPRINGS on gog but i'm trying to avoid relying too much on one platform (aka steam) for my income... since i've quit my main job i want to make sure i can keep my game dev sustainable for a long time & that means ~diversifying~. my plan is to release the other games i have on steam on gog too but i need to arrange that with gog first so this is going to be an ongoing process
• if i have the energy after those two i want to work on something completely different since i feel like i've mostly been working on old projects lately... i want to just make something silly!
• & of course a postcard for you all as usual 💜

separately from that i also plan on exhibiting at digital games expo in november if i get in! the plan is to exhibit marron's day there... hopefully i'll have the jam game portion fully ported by then so i can actually work on the new content i want for it!

also a little request... it seems sometimes my email newsletter gets sent to spam depending on the email provider people are using 😢 i'm honestly not quite sure how to avoid this, but if you see my email newsletter (https://npckc.site/#newsletter) in your spam folder, please flag it not spam so it lets your email provider know that i'm a real person and not a bot! i think it also helps if you open the email/click links inside but i don't know how newsletters work entirely...

and if you've signed up for my newsletter but have had issues receiving it please let me know in a comment or message so i can try to figure out if there's anything i can do 🙇 (for reference, i sent out an email newsletter on 8/30 about the pet shop update so if you're signed up for the newsletter & didn't get an email about that, i probably screwed something up!) with social media being a complete mess i want to make sure emails at least get sent out properly...

anyway, those are my september plans. i'm hoping i can make a silly little something to share!
