Weird Poll results

No Poll for everyone today, just for the higher tier patrons, sorry. But I have something else to talk about, that is, the poll results of the last poll.

That Poll was "Would you want to see full colors of previous sketched comics?"

You see, the majority voted "Yes". Okay, fine, but the weird thing is, pretty much ALL the comments that actually replied to the poll said "I want you to concentrate on making new comics"

This shows how much of a difference there can be between people who actually comment on stuff and the average silent supporter.

What do you guys make out of this? And what do you think I should do in regards to these results?

I think you would have gotten different results if the poll was phrased, "Would you want to see full colors of previous sketched comics — if new content released more slowly?" On the other hand, coloring old content could be great for bringing in more new patrons, since from their perspective, its new to them and getting released quickly.

I think that it is important to keep working on the newer comics so you wouldn’t fall behind on them and create more problems for yourself. However it would be a great treat to see old comics that were originally sketched out become colorful. So probably the best thing to do to help balance everything out is to keep doing what your doing and near the end of the month you can take a day to color in a past comic. Maybe to make it more easy it could have the same color as WIP rather then finished style to save more on time and allowing you more space to work. Overall I say do what you think is best for what you can handle and how to balance your schedule.

A lot of times with polls like this, saying "yes" pretty much says it. There's not much more to be said. To me, it looks like some of the commenters were saying they'd like some stuff colored, but also would like new content? (*shrugs*) Myself....I would like to see some of these colored. It would actually give you a break of trying to come up with different stuff all the time. I know we all get "artist's Block" once in a while (I'm a musician dabbling in arranging some songs I like), so just going back and coloring older stuff is perfectly fine with me. Take it as the majority is fine with it if it gives you a "creative break" when you need it.

I think a lot of the time (but not always, before anyone jumps on me!) people will vote for what appears to be “get more content”. I’m assuming the consequence of “coloured versions of existing work” is “less or slower new continent”.

I mean if the poll won should follow the poll
