I kinda wish these steps of WIP already included the special effects and such. Without the soap and water these panels look kinda empty
(just some thoughts about cgi rendering: )And something I just noticed now about the backgrounds. The place where the mini girl is placed on with the soap dispenser, it's suppose to be one of those distorted glass things. And it looks fine in a broader view but not in a closeup on the second page. I tried to fix it by changing the texture, but it just looks flat. But now comparing these finished pages side by side, I noticed it's because the closeup view only shows the shaded part of the glass, but I used "normals" to create the distorted glass look. Meaning, I should have used a fake light source to give it some lighting to correct it. The problem is, it's not something that can be learned now that I know what the problem is, it's just something one has to continuously pay attention to, which is not really possible for the average person. Maybe I will figure out a solution in the future that can be reapplied without that paying attention to issue. Some kind of texture that always looks distorted even with big shadows over it.
