I liked all the examples of media that did mystery and drama well. It's easy to complain about things that are bad, but I honestly think it's more valuable to recognize diamonds than to criticize the rough.

If you like reveals that recontextuallize a story, you should read some of Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere. That's like his main plot trick that he does really well.
