2nd place contest winner Artwork

For those that are new and didn't read any of the contest rules, the first place gets a short comic drawn, the other entries get an artwork. Originally only the top entries were to get an artwork, but since there aren't that many entries per contest, pretty much every entry gets at least an artwork. That for just a 10$ pledge, i wonder why not more people take advantage of that.
Anyway, 2nd place here is a story about a witch(no relation to the other witch story, though in my mind it would have played in the same canon) and her assistant. It didn't make the cut because it was too similar to some of the other stories here and especially to the one the writer has written before.
Originally there were three contest entries, but one of them was done outside of patreon. I tried to check if he was one of my patron and if the story he suggested was his own, but he didn't get back to me at all, thus i had to disqualify that story. Which was a shame, because it would have won hands down.

2017-03-30 01:14:03 +0000 UTCI guess you have a point, i should make it more clear on the pledge list thing. I thought when people see 2nd place and 3rd place entries getting an artwork that would be enough to make them interested enough.

2017-03-28 05:03:30 +0000 UTCI think the issue was "you will get a chance" - much less likely to attract people to pay more with a chance to *not* get anything extra. Saying that, I'm gonna bump mine up cos I just like your stuff enough.
