Patreon's New Sales Tax for July 1st and Tier Benefits
Added 2020-05-23 06:19:42 +0000 UTCSome people may be getting an email from patreon in the next month regarding a new sales tax they may be adding to some patrons with some tiers and.... and it's made zero sense at all from what they've tried to offer as 'help' here.
So because I had to add benefits for that (rather than let patreon's AI make that decision based on keywords), I had to add an early access 'benefit' to the early access tier. Because of that, it is also asking me to mark as completed the sending out of early access work. Which of course, is just normal patreon posts here. So since everyone already has the early access then I just cleared it all of as completed.
Long, slightly annoying story short, it may or may not be emailing people telling them benefits are done, or to be claimed or no idea WHAT it could do. I'm hoping it will just be everything as normal here, but if there are any issues or weird things popping up, give me a shout here and I'll get hold of patreon to try and get some answers and get things sorted :)
