Added 2024-09-30 04:13:31 +0000 UTCIn the past few months, I've noticed a gradual decline in my productivity. At first, I ignored it and kept working because I love developing this game. However, this month, I can’t help but wonder why I’m no longer able to work as I used to. Ideas aren’t coming, and I’m struggling to stay focused on development. I just don’t seem to enjoy working like I did before.
So, I’ve decided to take a break for a month or two after releasing v0.4.0 on October 31. Patreon will be paused after the release. I’m making this announcement to inform paid members, giving them the option to cancel their subscriptions in advance if they choose.
I’ve also realized that, no matter how much I enjoy working on this game, work is still work, and eventually, it will wear me out.
TL;DR: Very burned out. After releasing v0.4.0 on October 31, I’ll be pausing Patreon and taking a break for a month or two.
