Chapter 63: Followers
Added 2025-10-19 12:42:47 +0000 UTCLooking at the manor in front of him, Erwin asked, "You're certain that lady is here now?"
"Yes, I'm quite sure Mrs. Arya will be here every day during the daytime, then returns to her house at night. No one knows where her hidden residence is until now," Scarface replied.
He hesitated for a moment, then continued, "However, this is our headquarters. I'm just a minor leader. Several powerful wizards should be here now."
Erwin smiled indifferently.
He completely disregarded these questionable dark wizards.
These dark wizards weren't the well-trained purebloods of the Death Eaters, but ordinary wizards who performed shameful deeds.
They didn't have the qualifications to take refuge with Voldemort.
Erwin had decided to come here after considering that he needed these low-level wizards of various backgrounds to help him with menial tasks.
Without stopping, Erwin pushed open the door of the manor and walked in directly, making his way through the main gate of the villa.
Scarface opened the door, and Erwin walked in to find five or six wizards sitting inside.
A person who clearly knew Scarface came up to greet him.
"Hills? Why are you here? The person next to you..."
Before he could finish speaking, Erwin raised his hand and cast a petrification spell, fixing the man in place, rendering him unable to move.
The rest of the people saw this scene and knew the visitor meant trouble.
They immediately took out their wands and aimed them at Erwin.
At this moment, a lazy and alluring voice came from the second floor.
"Hey, you are welcome to visit, but you are being too inconsiderate attacking us."
Erwin looked up and saw a charming blonde woman swaying down the stairs.
Arya looked like she was in her twenties, but she possessed an air of maturity about her entire being, which was in sharp contrast to her pretty face.
Her proud figure was also undeniable under the fiery red dress she wore.
She was a rare beauty.
When the wizards downstairs saw Arya appear, expressions of infatuation appeared on their faces.
Erwin was slightly surprised.
He hadn't expected there would be such a beautiful woman in Knockturn Alley, and that she would be the leader of a faction.
However, he was only briefly surprised before returning to normal.
Through the black robe, Arya couldn't observe Erwin's expression, and she felt uncertain about the wizard's intentions.
However, seeing that there were so many subordinates around, she didn't panic.
"I don't know how my people have crossed you. I can apologize on their behalf and send you compensation."
Hearing the other party being so polite, Erwin felt she was quite diplomatic.
So he made his request.
"Your subordinates robbed me. As an apology, I want you and your people to serve me."
At this moment, Arya was full of questions.
Did this person have a serious illness?
One of her subordinates couldn't hold back at this point.
This man had petrified one of their people as soon as he entered the door, and now he demanded they surrender.
Did he really think they were common muggles or something?
He immediately attacked Erwin with a curse.
"[Diffindo]!"
Erwin didn't even look at it.
With a wave of his sleeve, the attack was blocked by the [Iron Armor Charm].
Immediately, he looked at the man, and a green spell flew out, hitting the dark wizard.
The man fell to the ground, completely lifeless.
The expressions of the others changed abruptly, and even Arya's face lost the formulaic smile, her expression becoming solemn.
Where did this dark wizard come from?
At the slightest disagreement, he used the Killing Curse and cast the spell silently and wandlessly.
Erwin didn't want to waste any more time with them.
A wand appeared in his hand, and he swiped it lightly.
Everyone's wands flew out of their hands and sailed toward him.
"I don't want to say it a second time. Follow me, and I will show you a higher landscape."
Erwin's deep voice came from under the black robe, bringing a heavy pressure.
The rest of the room was frightened by his display, and it fell silent.
Strong. Too strong.
He killed one person silently, then disarmed everyone's wands in one fell swoop.
There was absolutely no room for resistance.
Arya forced a smile on her face and said, "Sir, your strength is already so formidable, and I doubt we can help you much. Why don't you go to the Frank or the Rambis wizards?"
This woman was still thinking about redirecting the danger.
A green light appeared in Erwin's eyes, and suddenly, except for Arya and Scarface Hills, everyone else fell to the ground and cried out in pain.
"You have ten seconds to make a decision. In ten seconds, it's up to you whether they live or die."
"Ah!"
"Forgive me!"
"Boss! Save us!"
Seeing her subordinates fall to the ground and howl, Arya's face showed uncertainty.
She knew that as long as she refused, no one in this manor would survive.
In the end, she gave in.
"Sir, you've won. We will be loyal to you and serve you."
Arya didn't want her life's efforts to be destroyed like this…
This black-robed man was so powerful, perhaps he could really show her a different view of the world.
Her lifelong wish was to lead her people out of the stinking ditch of Knockturn Alley and become a force not inferior to those ancient pureblood families.
Seeing her so aware of the current situation, Erwin was satisfied and stopped the [Cruciatus Curse] on the rest.
He also returned their wands.
The group looked at Erwin in fear.
Now, even though they had wands in their hands, they no longer had any desire to resist.
The piercing pain from moments ago remained fresh in their bodies.
If there was any small movement, no one could guarantee that the next person lying on the ground wouldn't be them.
Reaching into his pocket, Erwin pulled out a piece of parchment.
"Sign this contract, and you ‘ll officially be my subordinates."
Without any hesitation, Arya signed her name on the contract.
As for the others, they also signed in turn.
"You signed it so readily? Aren't you afraid that I've set some traps in it?"
Seeing them so compliant, it was Erwin's turn to be surprised.
Arya replied to his question.
"With your strength, if you really wanted to deal with us, there would be no need to make such trouble."
"And since I have decided to follow you, I will not have any regrets. I believe that a powerful wizard like you is too proud to deceive us."
Looking at this woman carefully, Erwin hadn't expected her to have such courage, and it was no wonder she'd managed to establish a faction in this man-eating Knockturn Alley.
