Spring Video, Experiments

Good Afternoon, and Happy Spring <3 I wanted to share with you a little something that I just finished putting together from a couple years ago...I never completed this experimental project because of the following...My creative friend Chris Vongsawat always wanted to inspire me to help me get over my bit of "stage fright." & My stage fright would show itself in the way of becoming out of breathe, not being able to control my breathing and voice, blacking out, shaking nervous voice" This little video is a little example of my trying to push through those natural nerves that I sometimes/often get when singing in front of others. I was never Ever happy with this "performance", I didn't feel like it was a good example of my singing voice or the way that I love to cover this song, so I never did anything with it... but, I think sharing the processes, even when they're a little cringey to self, and definitely not perfect, is a great way to practice sharing and being human.  Thank you for taking the time to listen to this little live shaky pitchy singing, of a song that always pierces my heart.

With Love,

Kacie

Aww thanks Lundon! and Yes Chris is truly an amazing artist, and I too love loved that scarf video! He always makes special work!! Thank you for taking the time to watch <3

It's definitely one of my favorite too!! Thank you so much Josh!! I don't think I don't know if I have the guts on this one release to the public; however I feel so lucky that I have a space to release work, even if it doesn't feel like my best performances. It feels like an important practice, especially for perfectionists. I know being a perfectionist is not necessarily a great attribute all the time (haha) so this feels good to me <3 Thank you for taking the time!!

Chris Vongsawat did fantastic work with you - favorite being the video with all the wind and red scarfs

Lundon Boyd

Fantastic job. One of my favorite songs and I love your modern production /interpretation while maintaining the timeless feeling of the classic versions. You should release this publicly!
