I wish I was a shining star process
Added 2024-08-29 06:25:40 +0000 UTCI started this piece in January and I took my time to let it cook. I used a bunch of mediums and programs to create this one. I switched between photoshop, procreate, blender, watercolors, markers, and colored pencils. I find myself enjoying the process so much more when I try different things at once.
My goal was to make it look like a scene from a 2D animated movie, they usually have the backgrounds painted and the characters and animated elements in flat colors because it's easier to animate. hopefully, I will use this look consistently in my future (and more complex?) animations. I originally wanted to add a couple more scenes but I got burned out and decided to save my energy for another project.
I'm currently hyper-focused on a personal short animation, about 1min long, I'm a bit overwhelmed but I'm also very excited to share it
