Shapes of contrast
Added 2018-05-06 00:16:59 +0000 UTCDid this one some time ago to “get” the contrasts in shapes between these two. Since they have opposing personalities, I wanted them to have some contrast in the way they are constructed.
Ben is big and soft and Karen is basically sharp and pointy. In other further explorations Ben is also quite square and boxy, while Karen is more elongated and stringy.
When I draw them in their “normal” style, having this knowledge in my head makes it easier to apply personality to each one, even if the style I’m using is not very graphic or exaggerated.
