Very quick thoughts after Game 3 of the 2025 ALDS

Aaron Judge has his postseason moment and the Yankees have a pulse. Once down 6-1 in Game 3, the Yankees scored eight answered runs the rest of the way, none bigger than the three on Judge’s towering game-tying home run off the foul pole. Here’s the video. Jazz Chisholm Jr. porched one an inning later and the bullpen stood tall for 6.2 innings.

Shane Bieber’s early exit forced the Blue Jays to run through six relievers the day before their planned Game 4 bullpen game. None of those relievers were overextended, but hey, every little bit of fatigue helps. The Yankees kept their season alive in Game 3 and also set themselves up well for Game 4. I’ll have more on Game 3 (and Game 4) on Wednesday. For now, best win of the season, you guys.

Just watching highlights again and damn Judge hit that ball like it insulted his mother

Turning it off to go to bed is one thing but clearly you stayed up. Disappointing

I’m not going to lie, I turned off the game at 6-1. Glad the Yankees made me look dumb, but they still have a long way to go. One game at a time. This was the textbook definition of a It’s over / we’re so back game.
