A lil sketch page of a character I’ve been designing and brainstorming! I’ve been inspired by shrike birds for a while (the little birds that impale prey before tearing them apart, often prey much larger than them) and wanted to make a character inspired by such an insane creature.
Ingrid looks like an upbeat, peppy little sparrow, luring in preds before drugging and impaling them alive. She uses them for food, pelts, trinkets… all sorts of delightful things that make a house a home. Just a delightful little serial killer birdie.
