Turning point!!
Added 2021-11-07 02:37:52 +0000 UTCI reached a point in my plans for me to decide the final concept of the game, this is due to the total lenght...
You see, the prologue alone is around 50000-70000 words and feels like a book so the best course of action is to make it as a visual novel... The question is, should the rest of the story be made in visual novel format as well, with game elements of course? Or should I separate the prologue, make it as a kinetic vn and make the rest of the story as a rpg game with casual visual novel elements (think in Corpse Party)?
Both ways sound good to me but I can decide wich is the best course of action due to both ways having their own limitations... Of course, the rpg version will be done in rpg maker since unity, unreal or other engine is pretty far from my programming skills.
So, which is the best course of action from the point of view of a fan? A limited visual novel or a limited rpg?
