Concept Art #5: Muffins

Wow! We've been extra busy lately working on Burokku Girls and Time Tenshi 2, but we're taking a quick break to bring you some Concept Art from Time Tenshi!
This time we're looking at the CG of Rose handing a muffin to Kenji. As you know, in the game this is where we get to know a bit more about Rose and her caring personality as she exchanges light chat with Kenji and bakes him a muffin in the cafeteria.
You can probably see that the concept art is quite a bit different from the final CG! The muffin is smaller, the area above it is quite a lot bigger(!) and we see Rose from the waist up in the final CG, whereas the sketch showed her full-length.
Due to the 16:9 resolution of Time Tenshi, we have to position CGs carefully so that they're as large and clear as possible without sacrificing any important details. So, we told the artist just to draw from the dress upwards in the final version.
We hope you like this little insight into what goes on in the development process!
Also, this CG was the only illustration in the game which was drawn by the main sprite artist. We think it turned out great!
