Some of y'all are paying 43% more for your tier subscription for no reason and that 43% doesn't go to me or Patreon it goes to APPLE. If you have an iOS device (an iPhone) DO NOT USE THE PATREON APP TO JOIN/ SUBSCRIBE- It will charge you MORE money for the SAME benefits. USE THE BROWSER (safari) to go to the Patreon WEBSITE (www.patreon.com) and join from there.

I believe this goes for all in app purchases on iOS devices but I could be wrong. What I'm sure about is that Apple Is skimming off the top because our government has never been able to make big tech not be terrible but you can get around this by just using a browser and not the app.

Last thing, once you've signed up or joined from the browser then it's fine to use the app to view or engage it's just the sign up process- if you use the app to join you will be charged more by Apple. Not by Patreon and not by YaMotha. (It also holds onto your subscription payment for 2.5 months if you join through the app so I don't see that revenue for...2.5 months)
