Weekend mod log

Some of you... okay … Barely anyone has seen this UI before. Since this weekend I did not really have a set goal, I tried to very quickly build the mini story mod functionality into the game.

Uff... i got it in but i made much overtime. Man things are different from unity 2018 to unity 2021 and i had to scrap the gizmo package i used entirely and bought a new one.

So anyway... for the many people uninitiated. This functional will allow all the people to create mini story mods for the game. It is not really a mod framework but more of a very simple story creation tool. You can create events and place some props and machines. (not many currently as in version 0.27). And i need to create a tutorial and a VN event API documentation on how to use the many many many commands i use for the story.

Currently, this functionality is very limited, I only included three machines you can place and some props (not many). I will add more props and placeable machines in the next release (along with fewer bugs, hopefully).

A nice thing to add would be a function which can create nav meshes in runtime. That would be very nice but.. i have absolutely no idea how to do this. This needs proper research >_<

Anyway, i am currently package and uploading the closed beta for the beta testers. So, i hope i have the patreon beta of Bound in desire version 0.27 out today (but later).

And next weekend... well... more level creation for side content , since i want to have the public beta out around christmas. (no promise!, i try!)

There is a section in the discord server reserved for mods and i also could built yet another mod manager like in MW and AATOFL. But yes.. a website it also a nice idea. maybe i could just add a forum to my website http://3dnovels.de

Idea, why not provide a website for people to post their mods for their games? This would provide many possibilities and, on top of that, engagement.
