So far, there’s only been a few comments on the last chapter, and they were mostly skeptical, critical, or generally hesitant about this 'little ruse' being put on for Amber. If you DO like the direction this story is going for this particular scene, then please let me know.
I’ve already made adjustments to the last few chapters to try to clarify things (like emphasizing the roleplay nature of it), but I’m not entirely sure how everyone feels about the general situation. Might be that 90% of you are perfectly fine with the direction, or it might be that 90% of you don’t like it (I need to know that).
Hopefully you guys will enjoy this chapter (and if you do, let me know). I generally tried to keep your comments in mind (as much as possible) when writing it. If I need to clarify something, let me know!
Regarding the harem:
In general, all the women being introduced into the story ever since Claire and Nicole are just a casual thing (assuming they are involved with the MC), and I am generally roping in ‘the main harem’ for those scenes. So, for example, this particular scene is mostly about Serenity, Gabriella, and Miriam (the core harem) even though they are also dealing with Amber.
If anything, Amber will be a ‘means’ for them to have a fun experience, but it’s not really about the experience with Amber, it’s about the experience between MC and Serenity, or MC and Gabriella, etc.
And it's the same with Jessica. If the MC gets involved with her, it will be a more casual thing (she will be more focused on her friendship with Serenity, assuming Kai gives her a new life).
But for the other women (ever since Claire/Nicole):
Raegan? More casual, even if included (and the focus of the recent plot involving her was on Natalie, Avery, Michelle, etc. being involved). Tracey? Very casual (and focus was more on Claire). Vivian? Very casual (and focus was on Delilah, Liz, etc.). Brooke? Casual (and focus was on learning about MC’s past and how it affected Miriam). Jessica? Very casual (and focus is usually on Serenity, or Claire, etc.). Petra? Likely casual (focus is more on other women being involved in that scene, like Serenity, Avery, even Rosa, etc.). Alicia? Will be casual, if included (and focus might be more on Rachel). Amber? Also causal, if included (and focus is on Serenity, Gabriella, and Miriam).
So even if women are considered ‘a part of the harem’ (as in, they aren't involved with other guys), I’m still trying to focus on the ‘original ten’ as much as possible.

FEEDBACK: Thoughts?
In response to everyone's feedback, I edited the last chapter and added a bit of insight into Candy and Cherry's 'perspective,' which will hopefully help clarify the effect it is having on them (little things, like 'excitement' leaking into their aura, or how it's more of a roleplay than anything, etc.).
1. There are no plans to actually play the 'Pig Roasting' game, and the entire suggestion was just to explore the possibility itself as a theoretical idea, but how do you generally feel about it? Fine, as just an idea? (I'm generally trying to introduce Miriam's more kinky side without actually including it in the story. This is for a happy 'middle ground,' so that those who 'do like' that kinky side can know about it, while those who don't like her kinky side don't have to read about it directly. Because some people love Miriam, and some don't like her at all.)
2. Thoughts on the information learned about Amber? (I feel like the Candy/Cherry thing has eclipsed the information actually discussed regarding Amber. As mentioned at the beginning of this post, she won't be 'a part of the harem' even if they are a little involved with her sexually. And there are quite a few characters who fit in that more casual role.)
3. As you probably know, I did a poll where it was 50/50 between plot and steam. We've recently had a lot of plot involving MC's father, as well as the Werewolf Queen, etc., and I'm generally trying to aim for that 50/50 split (or maybe closer to a 40/60 split of steam vs plot -- I often try to ensure that real plot also includes a bit of romance and relationship development whenever I can). But after the next chapter (which will have a bit of steam and some interesting dynamics), it will be on to more plot. Note: Next chapter isn't meant to be just about 'sex,' and is meant to be more about the relationship aspects of those involved. Hopefully that will be fairly clear.
Definitely give me feedback, as it will probably influence the direction of the next chapter!

I understand the urgency with Amber needed to be resolved but thinking back to the prior chapter when Jessica accidently touched the blood stone containing Liz's soul and Jessica having siesures or whaever was happening, I have bad memory regarding certain types of details. with the blood gem destroyed or still disintegrating, I think attention needs to go back o that I would think that now Kai will need to give her his blood to save her as to prior it probably would have been done simply because of her relationship to Serenity. The other side of that, Liz needes to be reincorporated back into her body or another. SO I hink that emergency now eeds o be dealt more as a prioriy than figuring out who the shapeshifter is. Roland may be of assistance in tha matter.

And be more understanding since she still wants to have sex with Kai. I wonder if he will increase his dick size to see how she reacts.... I still don't know if she can be trust or not. I'm interested in who the shapshifter is. And if she is working with anyone. Seems like she's doing her own thing. But who knows. So many characters are being introduced quickly. I've forgotten about half of them. Like the nurse.

And it's just been a few weeks. I remember how much he wanted her. I think it's hard to understand that Kai can be so powerful and resistant to so many things but can still fall victim to lust... The fact that Miriam herself could cause him to forget anything else and just be enveloped in lust and become mindless is concerning... Now if he choose to be thst way, that's different. Him letting himself be control temporarily to make the sex better, that's one thing. But to fall prey like everyone else, I didn't like that. He's supposed to be OP.

I know it's supposed to be about sex and a Harem but the storyline is much more interesting than the sex itself. I also like how you ask for the readers opinion on the direction you want to go. When I think of Kai, I think if an 18 yr old teen. Not yet a man but not a kid either. But then again he's technically thousands of years old. If this story has only taken place over a few weeks, it would make sense for him to still be finding his way with his Harem. Adding to the fact he still doesn't remember all of his past. I for one like dominant Kai. Him getting bent over isn't something I would like to read. But something tells me he wouldn't mind a tail in the bum while being ridden by one of his ladies. Especially after reading the car scene with Amber and Miriam.

I had sort of introduced Raegan into the story for two reasons: (1) to introduce a 'difficult' and/or 'different' kind of character that I would hope most of you guys would find interesting, and (2) to pair her with Rebecca in an effort to spark more interest in Rebecca. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as either of those goals were really accomplished. It seems most did find Raegan 'interesting,' but quite a few also found her annoying (a totally different reaction compared to someone like Claire, who most didn't like at first, but then most warmed up to after she had her character arcs). Likewise, while I was hoping that pairing Raegan with Rebecca would increase the interest in both Raegan and Rebecca, it seems like the net effect was 'no change.' (People who already liked Rebecca continued to like her the same, and those who didn't really care for Rebecca didn't really like her more). That's not to say that Rebecca or Raegan are out of the story by any means, but only that the purpose of introducing Raegan didn't really have the intended effect, and so I'm not planning on her being a real 'main character' like some of the others. I guess one way to look at it is that Claire and Nicole both won out over Raegan, even though I hadn't originally planned for Claire or Nicole to be main characters. But I guess you guys like the hot blonde cheerleader and also really like the idea of a hot kinky teacher.

Firstly, i agree with some of the other commenters in regards to how dominant/submissive Kai is. Rather than him being truly submissive, i see it more like him perhaps giving up control in certain sexual situations. I also agree that because trust is such a big thing to Kai, he would only cede control when with those he truly knows/is closest to, meaning the women in his harem. Having read your comments on the matter of kinks, i can see why you dont tend to lean towards the extremes of domination/submission with your characters. Regardless, i do hope that you continue to further explore and test the boundaries of Kais sexual preferences, as this will no doubt help to show how much we, as the readers, can tolerate before it becomes 'too much'; consequently, this will hopefully help you to find the right balance between his submissive and dominant nature. Now, as far as the women you mentioned who came after Claire and Nicole, i do have some ideas: 1) Correct me if im wrong, but i do believe that Raegan is the only woman mentioned who currently shares the 'full bond' with Kai. This, for me, makes it harder to see her as just a 'casual' companion, even though (funnily enough) she isnt one of my favorite characters. Because of the deeper bond she shares with Kai, i think she would maybe be better off being viewed in a similar way to Rebecca and Delilah, who fit the "concubine" category perfectly; theyre not quite 'harem wives', but are more deeply involved in the story than 'casual girlfriends', at least in regards to the closeness/importance of their relationships with Kai. 2) Three other women that you mentioned stand out to me as being more than 'girlfriends' but less than the main 'wives'. They are Brooke, Jessica and Petra. Brooke: i feel like she fits perfectly as Kais own personal 'sex pet'. Someone who only desires to be with Kai, but who will also share in intimacy with the harem members should Kai wish it. With the past she shares with Kai, plus her knowledge and magic prowess, i personally think shes more important to Kai and means more to him than alot of the other women introduced. Jessica: an idea i had a while ago was that she could end up working for Roland. This would give her a purpose, whilst also explaining her absence during certain parts of the story, as she may be on a job. I also think she could be more focused on her relationships with Kai and Serenity specifically, rather than her desiring to get to know the other women. However, because she is quite a sexual person, i also wouldnt hate if, on occasion, she were to partake in some of the furture orgies. Petra: similar to Jessica, i could see her being predominantly concerned with furthering her bonds with Kai and Serenity, since theyre the two shes watched over and grown to care for. Unlike Jessica however, i think it might make sense for those two to be the only ones shes intimate with, as she is married to Ariana and Rose and may want to keep her fidelity to them intact (Kai and Serenity being the exceptions). 3) Finally, Tracey is the definitive casual girlfriend, but it feels as though she has no purpose currently to the story. I think her job at the hospital could prove valuable, in regards to perhaps taking care of any of Kais allies who are injured, as well as procuring medicine and other items that they may need. Also, she could maybe end up having a connection to Nicole, although im not quite sure on how old they both are. Perhaps Nicole is an old flame, or was her babysitter if the age gap is more significant; ultimately, i think having her join the Nicole and Claire dynamic would be an interesting idea, as theyre both already Claires girlfriends and could make a hot trio. Ill finish by saying that these fairly broad and general ideas are just that, ideas. Whether you love and implement all of them, or hate and disregard all of them, ill still be here, reading and enjoying this story.

As you mentioned, I've generally tried to have Kai walk the line as a switch, adapting to the interests of his lover, but I can only go so far in either direction before people start complaining.

However, im personally not a fan of introducing 'new partners' as a way of trying to keep the sex from being 'repetitive'. I would much rather Kai continue to explore new kinks, new pairings and different 'types' of sex with the main women in the story, thus allowing their sexual encounters to still remain 'fresh', whilst at the same time helping to further deepen/strengthen the bonds between Kai and the women who mean the most to him. However, thats just my own personal opinion.

All of his succubi have ranged from actually domming him to flirtatiously suggesting it. In addition, Gwen and Natalie have also flirted with it. I have no problem exploring it, so long as it's not the new default kink. TBH, it doesn't excite me at all, but it's clearly something that has always interested Kai himself since he's never shut it down, plus succubi sense just what excites a partner. Considering how often Miriam, Deliah, Rebecca, Gabriella, and even Kelsey has brought it up and flirted with it means he's a switch who likes to live on both sides of the Dom/sub fence.

She was attentive and caring when she was raising Kai when he went from infant to toddler. Things like she doted on him and noticed even small things like his birthmark. This could be attributed to being under John's control, yes, but it felt like she was warmer and more empathetic. Of course, this could line up with my personal theory on who this Kitsune enemy is. Upon escaping from whichever incubi last enslaved her, her 'soul' fractured. The half that had her passion, her hate, and her rage is what is running around right now trying to hurt every incubus she comes across. The 'blank' Taylor is lacking the emotional range that her spiritual twin has. Just a theory, but I like it. An alternate theory could be that Taylor/Amber's mother, sister or guardian spirit is responsible for the shenanigans with the Shadow Wolves. I like the foundation that has been laid for Amber so far.

A new pairing, a new kink, a new partner, etc, as much as possible to keep things fresh when the focus isn't on the plot.

I understood it is their species, so I would expect a full blooded one to be even more effective as even Miriam already got affected by a half-kitsune. That's the main reason I am skeptical, in this chapter we got Kai believing she is not an enemy, but is that actually true?
