NOTE: I’m not sure how you guys will react to this chapter, because it has some ‘reactions’ that you may not have expected (but also reactions/twists that will hopefully make more sense in the upcoming chapters).
Also, I am hoping to get a Combat Healer chapter out for next weekend, partially because I want feedback for this chapter (to make sure I don’t need to change anything), but it will also just depend, because I want the next chapter of Combat Healer to be really great and they generally take longer to write.
So could be either story next weekend. Hope you enjoy!

FEEDBACK: Thoughts?
For those who don't already know, phylactery is basically pronounced: FILL-ACT-TURRY. I'm kind of curious how many of you already know what that is.
1. Thoughts on Micah? Thoughts on her ring? (Turns out things weren't as they seemed.)
2. Thoughts on what Gabriella's 'surprise' might be? (Kind of hinted at, but not obvious.) Or thoughts on any of the character interactions, like with Natalie.
3. Thoughts on how this chapter ended?

Micah, need total darkness, put her in the bathroom. No windows. I was thinking that Elizabeth had somehow been drawn back to her former Alpha, but the blood oath was a nice touch. Thank you. Some of the tails Could be used as a strap on, going between the legs of the owner to stroke both the owner of the tail and the pussy or asshole of the recipient. Just me little erotic suggestion.

2025-11-10 10:15:24 +0000 UTC1) With regards to Micah, if Roland gave her his blood, the usual changes associated with Kai's blood did not occur but I am confused by her being hungry as she was. I would think she underwent some changes. 2) I think I concur and Gabriela's surprise that she is with child but also think others ma be as well but do not know or suspect it as of yet. 3) I think Ariana made a gross tactical error. I'll give Petra the benefit of the doubt being surprised and probably shocked my the events that occurred in this chapter but I think she made a tactical error reporting it to the WQ and her wife. The fact WQ captured Elizabeth was a grave error on her part and Kai is looking at it as a declaration of war. Unless Kai is about to meet and speak with Petra to resolve this issue I see it ending badly for the WQ and the werewolves

2025-09-26 03:47:07 +0000 UTCGabriella is pregnant. I knew Elizabeth wasn't OK. And it's actually messed up Kai hadn't realized earlier. Kai should have killed his Father using his harem. Letting him live twice now is gonna cost him. And it's gonna be at the worst time. Wolf queen might even partner up with him... I think the rings play a role in something. It seems like Kai or someone acting in his behave has put these women and items in place for him to successed. Somethings still off with Rowland. For some reason I don't trust him. Can we get confirmation that Rowland is a good guy? Man I can't wait til the next chapter. And it's gonna be at least two weeks.... Talk about a cliffhanger. Man I know the wolves are gonna get wrecked.

2025-09-24 21:46:17 +0000 UTCExcellent chapter as always. Some thoughts from me: 1) Im glad that Kai is still the only one that can transform people with his blood, even though Roland is an ally. The ring was a clever way to explain Micahs appearance and ability to survive in sunlight. Although, if Kai didnt know such an object exists, it does beg the question of how Roland acquired it/who made it? 2) Excited to have the confrontation with the WQ and her wives. Glad Elizabeth will be seemingly heavily involved in this particular storyline. Would also be awesome if Natalie was involved (as shes just the perfect partner and all around best girl lol), either as backup for Kai, or maybe even at the request of the WQ; she could be curious/worried about Natalie after Petra saw her hellhound form. 3) Rachels reaction to finding out Absalom is alive is totally valid and shows some potential oversight from Kai in regards to sharing important information with his women. Hopefully once the business with the WQ has been resolved, he can focus on dealing with his father and also let his brother know whats happening. It was hinted in an earlier chapter that Kai wants to make some time for Rachel, which is something im personally very much looking forward to, as i feel like her character hasnt been 'explored/expounded upon' as much as some of the others. 4) Kais reaction to one of his women being HELD HOSTAGE is completely valid as far as im concerned. If it was me id get Roland and his army, my two destroyer angels, my vampire and hellhound and every other powerful weapon/artifact i have available. Im guessing the WQ, in her own mind, has valid reasons for doing this, ones that even justify taking Elizabeth captive; however, whilst im sure these reasons will eventually temper and ultimately extinguish Kais wrath, thus allowing both parties to interact in a more civilised manner, for right now im more than happy to witness full demi-god Kai at his deadliest. 5) Im also interested to know when exactly the WQ took Elizabeth. I assume it was when Kai first noticed that Elizabeth was 'mentally disconnected' from him, which i believe was around the time Kai and Jessica were abducted. Perhaps then, the WQs own connection to Petra allowed her to perceive whats been happening the entire time Kai and Petra have been together, thus allowing her to make this move so quickly. Consequently, it may turn out that Petra actually has no idea what has happened to Elizabeth, with her being just as surprised/shocked as Kai is. I would find it hard to believe that Petra knowingly betrayed Kai to this extent/magnitude, especially after seeing how much she cares about him.

As to the chapter, while I can easily understand Ariana's reaction, considering Kai explicitly commented on understanding her reaction, he overreacted but he does jump to people being "dead to him" really quickly (it was inly a few hours ago that it was Claire experiencing the same sort of reaction). His current mood probably didn't help though. I'd expect Kelsey to calm him down a bit, or others, and actually sort it out like grown ups, let alone powerful beings who have lived such long lives. I can't see Ariana even remotely sticking to that threat as it would be suicide, but it is now a bit awkward to back down from it.

Ultimately what it comes down to is that there is a valid reason for why she thinks he would want to eliminate her, and there's nothing she can 'give him' to outright remove that reason. Once I post the next chapter, you will have to let me know if it all clicks. It's a twist/reveal that will probably alter your perception a lot.

I'm don't recall why the WQ thinks she's such a significant inconvenience to him, makes sense she would be terrified when that level of power was demonstrated and she thought she was next

It doesn’t make sense either, considering they know Kai is more powerful than ever, harder to kill, actually feels emotions now, and doesn’t have all of his memories, so he wouldn’t have the control he once did. I can see postponing the meeting, doing it through Petra, asking for an oath of good conduct or whatever (that she and hers would also have to perform), or even cancelling it outright for the foreseeable future. Petra already knows how he reacted when Claire and Jessica were threatened. Reacting to a show of power by threatening someone he cares for and demanding an oath of servitude seems crazy. She would have to know it was suicide to even mention it, and a likely death sentence for anyone in the way as well as their allies who could hold a grudge.
