NOTE: TWO THINGS: First, I readjusted the end of the last chapter, because I feel like I miscommunicated Kai’s reaction to the Dryad.
Basically, his reaction to her ‘beauty’ is because of her complexion, and he feels like there suddenly isn’t a second place, not just for ‘people,’ but for anything that could be considered ‘beautiful.’ (Because this particular Dryad looks like something out of a literal dream – as in, impossible to exist, like seeing a living rainbow or the living embodiment of a magical gem.)
Basically, him calling her ‘beautiful’ is not meant to imply that she is ‘most attractive.’
Gwen, Natalie, and Elizabeth are still considered the ‘most attractive’ in purely an objective sense (by a small margin compared to everyone else). But in terms of anything that could be described as ‘beautiful,’ like ‘this waterfall is beautiful,’ or ‘this sunset is beautiful,’ likewise the ‘appearance of this Dryad’ has redefined what that word can even mean.
And that particular miscommunication is something I didn’t fully grasp until I had several people commenting on it.

1. Thoughts on Brooke at this point? (I tried to further clarify that she is more beautiful than 'anything,' not just people. And that her beauty is not the same as attractiveness, just like someone wouldn't think a 'starry night sky' or 'beautiful sunset' is 'attractive' in a sexual sense. Also, what do you think about her personality so far?)
2. What do you think about Brooke's outfit? (And it's purpose.)
3. After looking at the artwork, do you at least have a better idea of Kai's reaction? (NOTE: The artwork isn't a perfect representation, so please don't nitpick the art itself. It just exists to give you an general idea of what Brooke's complexion might look like.)
4. What do you think about what Brooke revealed about Kai? (About his past self? Including core aura and such.)

It feels like there is a romantic/marriage vibe here where a wife is expecting a doting husband to pay attention to her every need. She seems to be excited about finally being able to exercise some influence over him. It feels like she's constantly teasing him and is enjoying being able to finally connect with him. It seems as if dryads (or at least Brook does) have sex as an extremely important way to bond with others. I am looking forward to seeing how Brook interacts with Nicole as well as succubi and Kitsune.
