NOTE: I apologize for the delay on Combat Healer. Action scenes are usually tough for me, especially when there's a drawn out fight/battle. But they also usually turn out pretty great because I give myself the time to write them.

That chapter really cleared out my confusion on the last chapter, and while way too short hmmm hmmm, it was really good reminds me back to the first chapters with the serial killers.

CH is good but the Sci Fi aspects are not normally what I lean too but I still enjoy both story lines. Not to the answers: 1) with regards to the argue, not surprised Kai so to speak lost it with Claire, but that is Kai being Kai protecting those he loves. When Claire went against him which angered him also no treally surprising until she became forceful realizing to extent and Im not realiy sure how equal they are or will be become 2) Regarding Jessica although she did not entirely realize something was amiss, she must have felt something off as she insisted on going with the 2 bad cops to arrest Kai. She may have been slow on the uptake but I think she'll all Kai to do what needs to be done at the appropriate time, hopefully getting who is behine this all before they meet their demise 3) the reveal to me was not surprising, the timing was bu the siutuatin called for it and he was letting Jessica know she can trust him and will protect her. As I believe the next chapter will not be the end of the series I think once this situation is resolved and Kai speaks to essica probably with Serenity to keep Jessica relaxed and hopefully confides in Kair of her disease that kai will offer to cure her fully explaining to her what it would entail. Where she becomes part of the harem or simply a family memberwill be up to Kai and Jessica

2025-05-09 10:40:03 +0000 UTCSo, I don't message much, first I have been loving this book for a while now, and I understand writing action scenes can take some time, so take all the time you need for Combat Healer, as I really enjoy this story too. Honestly found you because of IDH. You are a amazing author. Now onto the questions. 1. I loved the argument, it felt real, like a real relationship where one is in a bad way and the other wants to come to the aid, plus everything makes more sense for me from Claire and I might now rank her higher cause of how she is acting. 2. I defiantly am starting to like Jessica, she still seems like a background character and if she does get blood then she will be closer but not as close as others to Kai, however she is. Very likable now as to where she was with Kai before and now knowing her "disease" she has (I feel like you foreshadowed what it really is with what Kai said about the cursed meat) she has alot more to her fleshed out. 3. The reveal was amazing not gonna lie, I was wandering how you would handle the reveal and this is one of the best ways, he protects her from the cops and she sees he isn't a bad person even though he has killed. Just my thoughts :) keep writing great stories and take as long as you need in combat healer I definitely can't wait to see what Kai does next :)

I absolutely love the face that you tied in that she had the smell of death and it being like the cursed meat. Super interested in that angle. 3. Loved the reveal. Really looking forward to how this all turns out!

2025-05-05 02:14:53 +0000 UTCGreat chapter again. I feel like Kais anger was mostly justified, although him being "done with her" was obviously an overreaction. Claires feelings of arrogance/superiority were well explained; she feels powerful and therefore invulnerable. Unfortunately, just because you cant die doesnt mean you cant be hurt, and just because you cant be compelled doesnt mean you cant be manipulated; i feel like her overconfidence may backfire in the future, especially if she keeps putting herself in dangerous situations without understanding the true scope of the threat. Im also not that enamoured with Claire being that dismissive of Kais obvious worry/panic in regards to her wellbeing, she claims to want to be "equals" yet doesnt listen to her partners concerns and disregards Kais attempts to protect her; so whilst she has clearly matured/grown from when we first met her, and very much loves Kai and wants to be with him forever, I still see in her some character flaws that might make it harder for Kai to fully connect with her. Having said that his thought that she may be his "perfect partner", and that what i percieve as 'flaws' may infact compliment Kai well, suggests a deeper bond with Kai will develop; however i also believe that Claire wasnt that high on the polls in regards to who his main 'wives' are, so im interested in just how much of a role she'll have in the story moving forward. Finally im looking forward to the confrontation between Kai and the officers and finding out who is behind this. There are so many possibilities that can lead into so many interesting plot routes. Also interested to find out what is truly wrong with Jessica and whether Kai will have to give his blood to cure her, thus maybe introducing her into his harem, or if her illness is something even more deadly/powerful that will require a different approach.
