FEEDBACK: Thoughts?
When I was writing this chapter, I felt like the conversation with Joseph was awkward, but when I was editing it, I felt like maybe I wasn't conveying that as well as I hoped.
1. Did it feel awkward?
2. Thoughts about Roland/Micah?
3. What do you think is bothering Kai?
4. Don't you just love Natalie? Lol.

Nothing truly serious. Minor spats that come up occasionally like those verbal disagreements between Natalie and Miriam a while back before Kai visited John.

At least there is no reason he shouldn't have done that, unless authors just didn't even think of that, but come on Kaizer thinks of everything lol,,,,, except for Kelsey's twin!

Micah man idk sounds like he should have met/talked to her before just giving her away, especially since I thought she was originally saved to be his..... But again where the hell is the twin of Kelsey for bethel to supposedly to be put into?! Please tell me it isn't Reagan and somehow she got away from her "safe" place..... Almost feels like you forgot about this part the soulless twin or whatever the hell it is, it just hasn't been mentioned since Roland talked to him that night Dante betrayed him at the end of the driveway! Like wth is going on I must know

2024-09-09 13:36:30 +0000 UTC#3- I believe whatever Kai is suppressing is something, perhaps an unpleasant detail about the tail situation or something else looming, like the full moon perhaps, that will unpleasantly complicate their lives. #4- Natalie is adorable. Ironically other than Serenity, Natalie seems to be the wife he is closest to. Despite a history that goes back millennia with Miriam, Gwen and Delilah those bonds are just now being rediscovered. Natalie accompanies him virtually everywhere and probably has had sex with him the most. It'll be interesting to see if she is the focus of some jealousy issues in the future?

2024-09-09 11:54:45 +0000 UTC#1- The conversation was definitely very awkward, that much was very clear. If you want it to be SUPER awkward you edit it a little to add some pregnant pauses and more mental cringing if you want. #2- I've always liked Roland as a character and liked the concept of Micah. The idea of a teenaged, self-loathing vampire chick hating her blood lust and the curse accompanying it so much that she was willing to travel the world to seek out a violent and permanent end to her existence. I see Roland as spending decades doting on her, spoiling her, but not quite courting her on the chance that Kai would want her for himself. I see Micah becoming Roland's "Natalie". A fiercely loyal wife who will sometimes position herself as his protector even if he is more powerful. She thinks and acts very independently, but never with anything but his best interests as her motivation. That said, even after decades, getting rid of her vampiric curse is something she is desperate to achieve, even to the point of risking Roland's ire, even if she knows he will eventually forgive her.

2024-09-09 11:47:40 +0000 UTCThe conversation seemed a little awkward. No real thoughts about Roland and micah but it was a cool little sub plot starter. Kai is being bothered because he's repressing a memory that's going to suck, and I'm unclear if the effect is going to be worse because he's repressing it but it seems like it's currently acting like a background migraine. Natalie is one of my favorite characters! She's been taking a bit of a side seat recently but she's always prominently in the story as a main supporting character.

The missing and bothering thing to me seems alot like 2 ships just out of range and not sure friend or foe this to me seems like the long awaited meet up with Eve. As for nat she I see falling into the beta with benefits she will be honest loyal his right hand and protector she sees herself as expendable yet she honestly is the one that has chosen and fallen the hardest in her own mind it was her choice. I hope to see this in Elizabeth soon as well . Is it wrong to think that Joseph should bring his house over and see if any sparks fly between some of him and his girls with some of the extra hangers on that Kai is collecting?
