Right the very last time he gave someone his blood they came to kill him, before that Rachael almost leveled the city, I think it was very wrong to send Roland on his own to receive his blood alone it's just wrong.... Kaizer!

2025-01-14 14:51:45 +0000 UTCNam I just don't understand why the whole tail issue is what caused such issues with Miriam getting so upset earlier, and if that's really the case then that sucks for poor Delilah to know she lost her tail from early start. But dam I sure hope eventually Rachael stops getting passed up on for sex, yeah sure it turns her on for him to try and get her pregnant by screwing someone else, but I'm sure what would really turn her on is for him to actually breed her like he's trying to breed her.... I love Kelsey don't get me wrong but I don't like that everything about her makes Rachael feel less important, I mean shes already self conscious about this. Dinner was good and I kind of expected it, and his almost bonding with Laura twice now is quite weird that he gets right there but cannot cross that line to bond, almost like she is still holding out just a bit, but it does come across as an alpha bonding, maybe because of the Oni? Idk just a random guess lol.

2025-01-14 14:50:20 +0000 UTCOk I had to stop quickly near the beginning since he's so concerned that none of them could bond, however 2 of them do not have his blood, and he needs to get to it to make sure they're both safe and stronger. Sometimes he can really be such a teenager lol. I also don't like that he's so concerned to have someone to bond with Liz and Kelsey, here he is completely forgetting the other woman he engineered for himself, he does this a bunch to Rachael I've noticed, and she doesn't deserve it.

2025-01-14 01:39:37 +0000 UTCI think most will agree that you want to become "invested" in characters as a story goes along. You are adding so many additional characters that it is becoming too difficult to remember who is who. This is making it difficult to become invested in the story as a whole.

2024-08-23 00:29:09 +0000 UTCI get the feeling that the harem members with tails currently are probably not pregnant. If I had to guess, Kai increases their fertility and and they become more compatible with him after being given his blood and they take on the succubi tail/pregnancy thing. The thing is, Rebecca had a lot of sex with him before receiving his blood. Previously, she was only 1/8 succubus, so is it possible she got pregnant when she was mostly human? Inquiring minds and all. Michelle also has had a fair amount of sex with Kai starting right after his first trip to Miriam's mansion. As far as we know she hasn't had her secondary transformation yet. And even when she does, will she get a tail since angels generally don't have one in the Bible? What about werewolves? Natalie has a tail, but there has been no mention I recall of her having similar issues. Edit:: If harem members have tails, but they are not fully developed (still growing and causing discomfort) I don't believe the woman attached to it can become pregnant until it does. Unless perhaps they already were pregnant before receiving his blood, like perhaps Rebecca or possibly Tracy.

2024-08-22 23:11:58 +0000 UTCTBH, I had suspected that multiple women of the harem are already preggers. He has been having a LOT of sex with Natalie, Michelle, Ren, Gabriella, Rebecca and Gwen in particular the last couple of weeks with no real thought of BC with the exception of Avery. The prevailing thought seemed to be 'meh', incubi are borderline infertile, so the odds of one of his women becoming pregnant is slim, but if it happens, it happens. We now know Kai has successfully engineered companions to be super fertile for him. Isn't it equally realistic to assume that he engineered his own body to be much more fertile that an incubi could normally be? I think it's likely some combination of Michelle, Natalie, Serenity, Rebecca and Gabriella are already preggers, but only a week or two in, so it's undetected so far, and will be for at least another week or two.

2024-08-22 02:22:37 +0000 UTCThe thought that an annual Cinco de Mayo feast could serve as a sort of anniversary celebration for Kai and all 20ish of his wives is a great idea. They all met him, or at least in a few cases became romantic with him within the same 2 week period before Cinco de Mayo. So it definitely feels right to make it a celebration for all of them, not just Ren & Kai.

Though to be fair and opponent with sharp enough senses could hear their breathing or heartbeats. Or even realize that their scents were so strong they had to be present.

I'm not sure if he will actually need more women for power, but it would be nice to just have enough that it's seems like a large family and not a stable... I know the title is called Harem, but seeing everyone fit at the table and having a good time was a nice read. Looks like he will need a bigger table anyways...

Even after his "death" the ring still was bound to her. Which leads me to think Kai's dad is still alive. Or else the ring might have just stopped working on it's own.

I have yet to be convinced that leaving recipients of his blood alone is a good idea. At the beginning of this series of books he used to watch over them now he seems to have moved on to a do it yourself approach even when it went badly wrong last time.
