I do plan on bringing Serenity and Gabriella both back around to being much more involved with Kai. Regarding Mrs. Hayes being at the house, it was more like, she was just worried and waiting around for him to come home, so she could find out what happened. She would have waited there all day if she had to.

Many of them aren't going to be his women, but I have no doubt some will. Micah Garcia, Elaine, Serenity's friends Jessica & Abby, Annabella Watson, Miriam's blonde succubus maid, Absolom's receptionist, to say nothing of Eve, Tracy, Laura, Rachel and Nicole as they firmly enter Kai's orbit. I have to ask, is there another bad girl MILF out there with established ties to Kai's women needing rescue and redemption more than Claire ever did. Specifically I'm asking about Claire's Mom?

I can't believe that any teenage girl would be able to stuff everything they own into a single duffle bag. Are we going to finally going to meet Claire's Mom? I'll go out on a limb and predict that once she gets a load of Kai and figures out Claire is dating him she is going to be hella jealous of her daughter.

Succubi seem to be inclined to the electricity affinity and Rachel has it strong enough to be a threat to nuke the whole city with a "bolt from the blue" ala Sodom and Gomorrah. Or, perhaps Rachel or Kelsey will bond with Miriam and Delilah? Although the two full-blooded succubi have such a long history together I don't see how a recently turned mortal could possibly forge a bond of equals with two succubi who are each more than 3,000 years old. Just my opinion obviously.

I'm sure she is fully aware of how immature and shallow Claire has been at times. I think ultimately she was pulling for Claire to become worthy of Kai, but had to conceed that Avery was much more deserving of being with someone of Kai's caliber. If she truly did see Claire as a niece/daughter she had to understand that her behavior was destructive and without significant change would doom any relationship. Thankfully, Claire DID change, even if the brat in her peeks out momentarily here and there.

Another maternalish MILF who can give her some mentoring and give back affection that Elizabeth probably needs since she lost her own daughter. Oh, and eventually Claire gains Gwen's trust so all the fire girls (Serenity, Gwen, Elizabeth, Claire, and possibly Bethel?) all form one big bond.

She was livid about her lying about marrying a man, but had no visible reaction to hiding the fact she is a faerie. So, it makes sense to me that Claire knows far more about the supernatural world than she lets on. Perhaps she knows this because of her precognitive gifts, or possibly she knows more about her supernatural family than she lets on.

2024-03-26 16:48:07 +0000 UTCI think it was more like the only two or possibly three people she was familiar with who might know an update on Claire was Claire's Mom, Kai and possibly Avery. She probably would have no reason to have Avery or Kai's phone number and Claire's phone was probably destroyed (again) when she went nova. She might have tried contacting Claire's Mom, and assuming she would even talk to Nicole, all she could tell her is that she was with Kai & Avery due to Claire calling her Mom with an update. So yes, since Nicole didn't have work for the day and she was frantic for an update. She spent it staking out one of two places where Claire might logically be, the other being the Copeland residence. Especially since it now appears that Kai is her protector and guardian it makes sense she chose Kai's place. The only thing is I'm surprised about, is that Claire's Mom wasn't there as well, since she had to have heard about the assault, the "gas leak" and the ambulance ride. It leads credence to the idea that Claire's Mom is a self-centered bitch. I mean, if that happened to my daughter, even if we were estranged, come hell or highwater I'd track her down for details and to absolutely confirm she was now truly safe.

I also was very surprised that Avery didn't come up in the conversation, as I'm sure that Nicole would be even happier fucking all 3 of her hottest students, not just 2. Where I'm re-reading all the old chapters, I still feel really sorry for Gabriella missing out when new women first have sex with Kai, given her interest in that specific scenario and generally watching Kai with other women.

So if Claire continues to receive healthy maternal acceptance and love from Nicole, Michelle, etc. she should be a long ways to being a better and more balanced person. It seems like the small amount of attention and love she's received from Nicole for the last several years may have gone a long ways to keeping her from being an absolute trainwreck of a bitch.

He's gone from not being able to look an attractive girl in the eyes to saying to a sexy, older, more experienced woman "Okay, you want to be my woman? Fine but you are going to fuck my other girlfriend first." That's a crazy personality adjustment. But I guess once you've died and come back to crush every enemy who've come up against you it does change you. Plus there is the fact more and more of his old personality is probably coming to the surface. The one where he had Delilah and Miriam as lovers early on in life and was willing to charge a demonic abomination to protect them.
