It ended in a very positive way, but I agree with the goddess that denying the "shackle" and leaving Marta would have been more merciful. I have to agree with others here: I was always under the impression that Soulmate was solely between Eliza and Allister so I was having trouble connecting why Wren would be affected, and I don't remember anything about Eliza/Wren being a conflict of souls. I had assumed that if the story went on long enough, Eliza would put her life on the line to save Allie, but first I always assumed Allie would find a way to prevent an ultimate sacrifice and Secondly even with an explanation, I probably could not accept the Eliza and Wren cannot exist at the same time trope. Wren is a monster, a copy. She's not some time traveling version of Eliza where the "original" ceases to exist.

2024-03-18 06:07:33 +0000 UTCAlly might want to look into this whole goddess thing and not take it for granted. The absorbing of monster cores is interesting, not only can he use them to create new spells and skills, he can increase his essence storage limit and the godess wants him to absorb more cores to become like her, and once that happens she'll share everything (whatever that means), there's definitely a lot of history that's been forgotten. Definitely can't wait for the next episode.

2024-03-17 16:28:50 +0000 UTCTwo shackles lost forever was interesting, it would imply that each princess was a shackle and I imagine that the eldric eyes were trying to take them out first since they can devastate large swarms of enemies and make sure that they could not reform. The goddesses message was interesting but it wasn't clear what constituted actions to fall futher into darkness. The new undying princess is a cool new character and she'll probably be happy to rejoin her sister. Wren and Eliza tension was interesting, that intuition could be misleading, since just because it says things will all work out, it doesn't necessary mean to wrens favor.

Which i figured had nothing to do with other bonds Allie has with others. Well alright then lol. Love the Godess convo and the info dump. Super tasty

2024-03-17 14:28:43 +0000 UTCI'd like to think that Wren's comments to Eliza weren't some sort of attempt to make her kill herself, as she already admitted it would hurt Ali, and I think it's just deliberately worded to sound that way, but she actually is being honest and that her intuition of the goddess is simply implying that trusting in Ali will allow a resolution to be identified that satisfies all parties. This is reinforced by here comment to Eliza that she shouldn't make the decision for Ali, but should treat him as an equal.

Because he used it on Eliza when he was fifteen and inadvertently used it on Wren in the dungeon years ago their souls are being stressed and torn between them. Basically, either Wren or Eliza has leave the bond (fatally) or they all might not survive.

With just the two sisters alone he could wipe out almost anyone. His Harem is truly a powerhouse. And I don't think wren or the queen will have to die. I think the queen needs to believe in wren and Allister more.

Love how the goddess talked to Ali personally. And gave him some insight. He is going to be a powerhouse when he unlocks more skills and power. I think he will use his dark power in the future to save someone he loves. Causing him to lose favor with the goddess. But then prove himself to her again and gain even more power. He will become a god.

Looking at the two princesses from the human kingdom, I wonder how the people would react to their "tats". But where does the human king go from here?

It seems as if Ally's harem is going to split into 'Team Delanor' and 'Team Ryfle' with he and Wren possibly splitting time between the two locations. It seems like the power of the MC and his women is going to be off the charts. After the current threat of the Eldritches, and *maybe* one after that it seems like it's going to be hard to craft a legitimate threat to actually threaten them.

Also, what constitutes him slipping into darkness?
