Added 2024-03-04 03:01:15 +0000 UTCMarch 3, 2024
NOTE: Long chapter (nearly double the length). Includes lots of steamy and a sprinkle of plot.
'Perfectly balanced, as all things should be,' lol.

FEEDBACK: Thoughts?
1. Did you enjoy the scene with Claire? (I'm kind of going for some more 'messy' scenes. Perhaps to an absurd degree. Perhaps not messy enough?)
2. What are you looking forward to most, that is possibly coming up?
Chapter 147 >>
Comments
I think Gwen's dislike of Claire needs to be dealt with. Claire needs to explain how Claire knew Kai for longer than Avery, but Avery comes in and steals him away. How her self image then didn't allow her to see her in competition with Avery directly. How she's always been loyal to Kai. The reason it needs to be dealt with is that's a potential weak link in Kai's harem. Something/one could use Gwen's dislike of Claire to maybe do something to somehow turn Gwen against Kai through Claire.

2024-03-04 21:55:29 +0000 UTCThe sexual tension with Claire was building for a long time and it came through with the culmination of the act in the bedroom. I will say that Kai leaving her for the others to aftercare was a bit odd since he has been so keenly concerned with how every one of his harem feels. It would have been good for him to remain and continue to care for her with his other girls. IT was a great chapter though

2024-03-04 19:37:21 +0000 UTCA big difference in how the story is presented, with even 1st person versus 3rd person making a huge difference in impact. If the story was written in 3rd person, and if it was even presented in a visual format, then the death of a main character could be tolerable to the reader/audience, because they aren't as 'absorbed' by the story itself. Especially so in a visual format, because after the death of that character, they can always go back to old episodes and see them alive again. This isn't so much the case in a book, where 're-reading' old chapters won't help make them feel alive again. But more importantly than that is that 1st person sucks you into the story to an absurd degree, to the point that 'you' are Kai (for a lot of people). Not to mention, Rebecca is the favorite character for a decent number of people (not the most popular, but for some people, she is the favorite). So her death would be devastating, not just for the story, but for some readers in real-life. It would feel like a real person they loved has died. And I'm just not going to do that. Not to myself, or to anyone else for 'an impact.' Put another way, what if I killed off your favorite character (whoever that is). Serenity, or Gwen, or Natalie, or whoever is your favorite. I mean, for all I know, maybe it wouldn't bother you much, but it would bother a lot of people. And as I said, Rebecca may not be your favorite, but she is for some.

2024-03-04 19:35:45 +0000 UTCI thought the way Michelle and Claire went at that I bond would form. I forsee him bonding with both Rachel and Laura during their visit. And Claire and Rebecca bonding. Avery, Michelle, and Claire all pregnant at the same time. Interesting twist with Delilah becoming like Gabriella by absorbing her wing and tail. Some Rebecca should actually grow wing now.

2024-03-04 19:03:13 +0000 UTCSorry for 3 separate replies, lol. Testing my memory on some of the wider storylines so apologies for any incorrect details.. The visitors to Joseph and the impact of his dad missing. The woman from his dream who said to forget about her. Roland's son and grandson and how he deals with that, if there is any impact, or if that was just a way to get Kai to meet Roland. The portal. The clones. Pretty much everything? Lol Also interested to see if the people who wiped out Gwen's family are still involved anywhere.

2024-03-04 18:01:30 +0000 UTCMakes sense on the sneaking around bit and might just be me, but I didn't really pick up on that aspect. (Just my input on my experience, not saying it wasn't clear)

2024-03-04 17:47:51 +0000 UTCOn the previous chapter, Ch 145, I clicked the link for Ch 146 and it brought me here. There might really be a wrong link though. Can you tell me which one you clicked on? Also, the non-vocal was supposed to make it feel a bit more like they were sneaking around. The kind of intimacy they'd share when they were trying to hide what they were doing from others in the house (such as parents). Obviously, keeping it hidden isn't actually the goal, but from Claire's perspective, she would automatically have that viewpoint at first. Can you elaborate on which wider storylines? I'm looking for specifics, as it might change what I focus on next in the story.

2024-03-04 17:22:44 +0000 UTCNot sure if it's just me, but the link to the previous chapter went somewhere completely different. I really liked the scene with Claire although was surprised by how non-vocal she was at the start, considering her previous feelings about Kai and her current insecurities and position in the group. I'm looking forward to more about Eve's role and also some of the wider storylines which have been mentioned but haven't gotten to yet.

2024-03-04 13:30:15 +0000 UTCI think it probably works really well for sensationalism and spreading the word for tv shows, I don't think it translates so well to a reading form unless it's plot driven.

2024-03-04 07:42:22 +0000 UTCShe will not be dying. I don't kill off main characters, certainly not for 'an impact.' I've seen other writers do that, and I dislike it a lot, because they are literally doing it for the reaction (and it's just not necessary).

2024-03-04 07:37:53 +0000 UTCWasn't a misspelling, I mentioned it before that I thought she'd be a good character to kill because of her personality and connection to the group and it would have such a devastating impact, so I was just referring to when I have mentioned that in the past chapters.

2024-03-04 07:19:12 +0000 UTCLove the scene with Claire and Kai. She might be the first to get knocked up hahaha. They had crazy chemistry. Avery and Michelle coming in at the end helped form some bonds. I'm looking forward to what's to become of Kai's fathers death and the threats it's going to bring. If he video taped and recorded everything. Im sure Kai's brothers know what Kai did.

2024-03-04 04:53:20 +0000 UTCGwen doesn't have a problem with anyone else liking her. She just personally doesn't want to be involved with her. How Rebecca what? (I'm guess that's a misspelling)

2024-03-04 04:26:38 +0000 UTCClaire scene was good, surprised we had no reaction from Gwen yet given her opposing views on Claire. I'm looking forward to seeing which pairing Claire fits with, how Rebecca dies and what effect that'll have on a bond pairing (if she gets mind reading connected) and I'm very much looking forward to reading about the MC's domain, eve and the MC growing his powers.
