Gay Book Listing

People have been asking me for a long, long time to create some sort of data base of all the queer books I've read, and I thought it might be a nice little perk for patrons to have access to the ever growing list! So I made a spreadsheet, linked below.

I'll be adding new books to the list as I read them. There's a lot of books that I own that aren't on the list because I haven't read them yet lol.

As a new patron - just wanted to share our podcast show that highlights queer content creators (mostly authors) and we've been running weekly for 8 years - with over 400+ episodes (we only recently started video eps on YT as a companion to our audio only podcast)! @wrotepodcast is our handle and you can find TONS of queer and allied authors who write across all genres with in-depth discussions of their books and their craft of writing. Ya know, in case you want to expand your exposure to other queer content works.

I've been overwhelmed with the amount of Queer fiction available these days. James, I think you mentioned that you are in the GTA now right? If so, I would recommend making a Toronto Public Library account, where there are literally thousands of e-books you can access. It's really been a boon to me on the long GO train trips to and from work. I'm also a big T.J. Klune fan, and I think his book "How to be a Normal Person" is one of the funniest books ever written. I would also recommend his novels "The Bones Beneath my Skin" and "Into this River I Drown". Other sci-fi fantasy Queer books I would recommend are "The Darkness Outside Us" by Eliot Schrefer and "Yesterday is History" by Kosoko Jackson.

Trevor MacIsaac

Great list! Here's a handful from my collection: This is How You Lose the Time War - Amal El-Mohtar, MAx Gladstone The Jasmine Throne and The Oleander Sword by Tasha Suri The Locked Tomb series - Tamsyn Muir, tumblr loves this one but it is fun. I'm also reading a bunch of translated Chinese novels. I like Clear and Muddy Loss of Love, and anything by MXTX is usually fun, with caveats.
