Turning those lights on may not be physically that big of a deal,but the politics of it is a huge deal. I guess it seems like a bigger deal for somebody who turned 16 in 1980 and actually had to live through the fucking eighties. Granted I pressed pause,but starting by talking about a president,who won 2nd literally with an actual landslide victory not acknowledging aids for 7 out of 8 years in office,followed by his vice president becoming president for 4 years, effectively adding another four years of reaganitis,then talking about lighting up Washington d.c. in gay flag colors like oh it's so easy, is a tad disingenuous
