i really like the way you and nick "tag teamed" your reviews. some of these i've seen, while others i want to see. although i've liked what i've seen of amercian horror story, i think i'll need to pass on this latest one as i was in my early to mid twenties (and had recently came out) when that real horror struck many of my friends and acquaintances and to this day feel the pain of those loses. but bravo none the less for another insightful, well presented, thoughtful and thought provoking video essay. i can wait to see your first "commercial" film!
2022-12-15 22:22:06 +0000 UTCOddly enough, I love both Heartstopper and slasher fare, but for the life of me I could not get into the Chucky television series, no matter how hard I tried. I just didn't find any of the characters particularly compelling, and even found a number of them to be downright insufferable. But to be honest, I've just never been a huge Chucky fan in general, outside of Bride of Chucky (which still remains a delightful staple of my annual Halloween film watchlist). I am in the very least glad a show like Chucky exists; I just wish I saw in it what others do.
