We continue our look back at the history of the channel, and I even end up crying a bit because I'm a DAMN BABY XD

I think it was Society and Queer Horror that caught my attention because of Billy and Stu on the thumnail. Monsters in the Closet was the next thing I watched and I loved it. The Camp video is one of my favorite videos on your channel, I go back and watch it when I don't know what to watch. I love your channel and how I learn something in every video.

Long time subscriber, just joined the patreon! I think I started watching your videos in the first algorithm push of monsters in the closet, I hadn’t realised how long it had been and all the ups and downs along the way. It’s funny how some of my favourite videos of yours like our flag means death and shipping culture didn’t get many views. I don’t engage with discourse/fandom/whatever either so I didn’t even notice the “controversies”, and I’m totally on your side for all of them. I’m assuming it’s the twitter echo chambers fault lol. One thing I noticed about my watching habits that might influence your algorithm struggles is that if you upload an hour+ long video in the middle of the week I always save it for the weekend when I have more time to watch it. That might knock down the number of people who watch it immediately so it won’t get the same algorithm boost. I’ve heard Jessie Gender mention this as well which is why she uploads on fridays. Might be something to consider going forward!

This look back series was so fun to listen to! I didn’t realize how far back I’d been following your channel until now. The part about your mom made me tear up. Thank you for doing the podreon, I really enjoy them.

I love your analysis/video essays, but I enjoy being a casual watcher of your new videos too(interview with a vampire). I'm sure many people are interested in something like that. Your voice is nice to listen too and consuming media without actually consuming it, is for some reason less stressful. Thanks for making all these videos and podcasts :).

Is the Spotify version coming back someday? 👀 or why didn’t it work out 🤔
