How do queer male writers deal with cishet & queer women dominating literary publishing of queer male rep? I’ve seen a lot of women accuse gay men of misogyny for criticizing the dominating of rep of their space. I’ve even seen some female authors freely admit editors & publishers have said to them that they’re “less threatening” than if queer men wrote queer stories. It feels like there’s a power disparity going on, and because it doesn’t neatly fit into that idea of men always having more systemic power than women, it’s causing a lot of conflict. And I myself as a hopeful queer masc author just don’t know what to do.

Hello) wanted to thank you for recommending books the last stream. I've read May the best man win, and absolutely loved it! As a autistic nonbinary transmask person, it was really relatable) maybe you could recomend more books like that. Also, have you read manhwa Here U Are? It has healthy relationships and in my opinion one of the best main characters. He is gay and not afraid and could beat the shit out of everyone who dare to say something about his orientation.
