New Video! The Necessity of Gay Crime.

Happy new year, everyone! Check out my latest video, which started as a look at the anime "Banana Fish" and turned into an exploration of why crime might just be essential to gay life.

I saw the reupload of this on Youtube and had to come and support you here, directly, instead. Thank you for the content you make, and I'm deeply so sorry for your loss. I, too, have lost my mom so I resonate with your pain. I do hope that video-making is more of a fulfilling thing for you than a burden during this time of grief. If it is hard for you, please take your time, we'll be here. If it's not, then I'm glad you've found something that gives you peace of mind and solace. Wishing you all the best xox

Apparently, he went into the warehouse and one night the men in the family wanted to see how he did it, but they almost got caught because it worked for a boy but a man was too large.

I just started this, but I have to comment. My grandfather told stories of selling coal or ice around town depending on the season that "fell off the truck" during the Great Depression to help out his family.

This was really great. I grew up in a similar environment, so I identify a lot with the struggles that cause people to fall into crime. My community was also very religious and as a result completely ignored certain types of crime (sexual assault, child abuse, etc). Especially when it came to perpetrators in our own community. I swear that capitalism and organized religion are the reason this is such a huge problem to begin with. The US having a horrible "safety net" doesn't help. If society punished people regardless of wealth, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or social standing equally, we'd live in a very different world. Since it doesn't, I say be gay, do crimes.

I would love to see Stephen Fry's depiction of Oscar Wilde, what's the name of the...movie? Series? Miniseries? Also, I think I hurt myself laughing at the 'run away with 13 dwarves' joke. I always knew there was a reason Bilbo didn't settle down and get married like a good hobbit, even before he was Martin Freeman. :p Humor aside, I think this is an important video for anyone struggling to understand how the whole minority-crime relationship came about. It feels obvious to some of us, but might not be so for everyone.
