New video!!!

Hey hey everyone! My new video is now live for all patrons. It's a two parter, with "the sequel" coming out on September 15.

The Disney org -- from the parks to the studios -- are staffed with plenty of out and respected homosexuals. Yet this happens. Who's in charge or who's suppressing the messages?

Excellent as always and I love the poignant point made at the end - it's not just about those of us old enough to articulate that we want to see ourselves in media! Gay kids *need* to see themselves and see that they're allowed to be who & what they are!

I’ll admit it, this was the video that FINALLY made me decide to become a patron. Your content is too valuable to not support. Wonderful work as always, and I loved every minute of it—at least as much as I could given the subject matter at hand.

The only thing I disagree about is the source material for Loki. Loki is a figure from the Norse legends and poems. And Loki lives sometimes as male sometimes as female. Loki got pregnant, AS A HORSE, and gave birth to Sleipnir. The existence of various types of Queerness aren't something that suddenly showed up in our modern culture. Disney et al is erasing thousands of years of history.

I don’t have anything interesting to say about the video - I loved it as always! But that intro, oh boy, I really really really like it

Great video, I'm not much of a Marvel fan (it's just all too much to me), but it was fascinating. You're the first person I've started to support as a patreon and I'm really happy with that :)

Loved this! I'm not much of a Disney person but all my friends are, and they're all queer. I remember seeing how excited they all were about Loki and when I asked them about it I remember feeling...pity? I think that is the closest word I have to describe it. This overall feeling of sadness that we, as a community, have seemingly settled for mediocrity. It's insulting. Especially since we often are accused of being "too much" or shoving our identities into people's faces. Two "blink and you'll miss it" instances of representation in Loki is not worthy of praise. Not that I fault any of my queer siblings for being excited to less than bare minimum, if I was a young fan I'd probably be pretty darn happy for crumbs too. But it's Disney as a corporation, fuck the mouse.
