Weekly news 2018-09-29: News from the move
Added 2018-08-29 14:02:51 +0000 UTCHi Patrons! I moved on Monday and now I have Internet at the new home and I quickly unpacked and connected my computer (photo on top) this morning to write you this little update. Good news: everything is working!
Noutti and Tigrette (my cats) moved also; now I keep them with all door closed at home for 1 week or a bit more, to prevent them running to the old place. I hope this way they'll create new habit in this house and feel this place as the new main one. So far, it's ok but I can feel they don't like to be locked inside and use cat litter.
One of the little present I received while doing the DIY for the house is a small and cute retro TV from the 80s. I found it in a dumpster of the city dump while doing the DIY work in the house and I couldn't resist to save it back home and test it. The good surprise: theTV is fully functional and I already connected an old Wii on it, last device I had at home able to connect to a Peritel/Euro-SCART connection (on the photo: a drawing of Carrot read by the Wii from an SD-Card and the built-in "Photo Gallery" app). I'll use this TV to enjoy retro consoles and computer artworks ( mainly SNES/NES RPG games).
All in all, I'm happy the biggest part of the move is done now. I miss my pencil and digital stylus so much ^__^ I'll be back at working on next episode at the end of week. Thank you for your patience and support!
