Hey Patrons! I don't have a lot of visuals to post this week as I focused a big part on closing items on my to-do list.
The to-do list items in question were mostly non-artistic todos (backup, rearranging my workspace, administrative papers and repairing things at home). Among the list, this might interest you: I'm trying to improve the level of privacy on Pepper&Carrot (propose a future postal address for direct donation or letters, propose also donations via IBAN). This is something I'm studying after getting an email discution with Richard Stallman. He is one of my "personal heros" (painting), so you can guess I was very honored to get feedback from him on the Pepper&Carrot project. Apart of that, it feels also good to get at the end of the week a brighter to-do list!
About the weekly livestream (replay here), it was a live tutorial about how to cleanup a scanned ballpen artwork, then how to flat the color using the ColorizeMask feature of future Krita 4.0. Then I gave tips on color theory and how to do the DJ with flat color area using the fill tool or how to solve aliasing issues.
Next week, I'll be back at working on comic pages. For the live-streaming, I'm planning to continue working on the same artwork and develop the steps after flatting an artwork: shading and polishing the drawing.
Thank you for your support!
