Hi Patrons, here is the weekly n°6 from south of France, where it's a half rainy and half sunny spring ; the garden loves it and I have amazing flowers. But, what's new for Pepper&Carrot project ? # Tutorial and bonus The tutorial was launched online this afternoon, you probably saw it on a previous post, so I'll not talk more about it here. Thank you again for selecting the Line-art topic ! This week bonus is not a big picture but a ZIP in attachment to this post. It contains two bonus : - The real time video inking of the portrait of Pepper ( the one accelerated in the video ) . It's a 20min video using MKV file-format. You can open it on any computer or device with VLC, 1080p. CC-By - The source-files of this portrait ( *.kra for Krita ). CC-By too # New website : mobile phone and tablet ready Google launched a campaign pro-Mobile-Friendly, considered as a 'Mobilegeddon' by the press ( Mobile + Armageddon ). Any website non-mobile-friendly would suffer of bad ranking. I didn't wanted this handicap for Pepper&Carrot ( and for my portfolio too ). The previous website was using old HTML+CSS, and used pixel and a fixed layout for many elements. Many many commits and a total rewrite were the only solution to migrate the previous home-made theme to html5, Css3 and use a Css framework as PluCss. On the way, I decided to not do just a portage, but enhance the website a bit. I merged the homepage with 'webcomics' for a faster access. I also removed the tag line "The Open Webcomic by David Revoy" as I'm more and more open to call it "The Pepper&Carrot project" and open it for a larger project. http://www.peppercarrot.com ( I'll keep fixing things here and there. I already received awesome feedback and ideas to push it further, but feel free to comment it also ). Next week, the 'blog' will be active on Pepper&Carrot website with new entries ; new ebooks , new project derivations with 3D printing , fan-arts ... I have many things to post on it ! Also, I'll redo the Patreon page ( finally ) for newer artwork and fresher link on it. Episode 8 is still in production, next week, I'll also have news about it. Thanks again for your amazing support in this project.
