Well luxury is subjective really, they’re comfortable and have access to whatever they please, they’re essentially war-lords. They have a mighty castle of sorts called a Gene-throne which is the seat of their power. Oh yes definitely, they’re not the name as us internally, they’ve been modified to be more robust and enduring. Hmm that’s an interesting question and I’d say yes to that I think. An adept Psionic user would be able to control hormone levels in the body and influence their genetic material to some extent. This goes for external imperium “tech” also. There’s absolutely potential there for there to be larger brained Over-fathers, I’ve been toying with the idea of an Imperium “navigator” Over-father, you know, those things shown inside the imperium krakens in both issue 2 and issue 7? Although I’m not sure that a much larger brain is needed for more processing power in a dedicated area of the brain linked to psionic sensitivity. It could be like I said in a previous comment, that chimps brains are far more powerful than humans in terms of short term memory and some other evolutionarily relevant areas for them, we’ve dedicated our potential to other ends. If we put aside the fact that that humans have larger, more developed and powerful brains than chimps, we can acknowledge that in spite of this, chimps outperform humans in certain fields. Now an Over-father wouldn’t need a much larger brain considering their brains are optimised specifically for psionic reception by the universes most capable genetic engineer. It’s like that effect in computer engineering, computers used to be the size of rooms and now one that is orders of magnitude more powerful than that can fit in your watch.

Do you think that Imperium Post-human soldiers appear similar but have undergone massive modifications under the hood? I bet their nervous system and the functions of their organs are distributed all over their body to prevent being taken out by one hit. Do you think AMs biotechnology can have its genetics changed via psionic waves? I think a more powerful Over-Father would likely be larger to support a much larger brain as if their bodies do function as computers adding more biomass would likely increase their processing power. Is processing power directly related to the power of a psychic? What makes a powerful psychic?
