I think it's a solid movie but I don't like how it adapts the comics. It lacks many of the elements that are vital to Superman and the feel isn't right for a Superman movie. It's like the Michael Bay Transformers movies but with Superman instead. Amy Adams Lois lacks personality and is more of a plot-device and I've never felt that Henry Cavill is a strong actor. The movie as a whole is probably like a 6-7/10. For Superman 2025, this isn't a spoiler but there's 3 comic-book origins that has become like an unwritten to not show because it's assumed that it's commom knowledge nowadays. We don't need to see uncle Ben get shot, we don't need to see Martha and Thomas Wayne get shot and we don't need to see Superman's origins. They've been done so many times in live-action so Superman 2025 intentionally skips his origin to focus on the story. There's some small flashbacks but they're shown very briefly. As for Krypton, it'll probably be shown more in another movie set in the same universe that releases in theatres this summer.
