For the next couple of days, I hope to finish up the outstanding sketches I have (I think about 5, but there are also around 5 more of you who haven't requested a sketch this month). Unfortunately I don't really have any new holiday themed art this year but eh, it's been busy.
So I want to give you all an outline of how things will be looking soon.
VIP+ this tier will be phased out. Mainly I think its a little bit impossible to accurately gauge how many commissions I can handle a month. I've already sent everyone in this tier a message with more details.
Instead, I will soon (after I clear all my outstanding commissions) open two 50 dollar slots for directly reserving a single character color+shaded commission. I intend for the rest of my commission slots (about 3 or 4 more) to be open for anyone but these probably won't be guaranteed monthly like the 50 dollar ones.
As for sketches, I'm satisfied with how these have been coming out now, and I hope all of you who have received them are too. Admittedly, my freehand stuff is still in need of improvement, but I think this month's sketches have already been a cut above my first month. I'm also learning to get used to CSP (which I find better for freehand stuff than Photoshop). In the future, I might consider opening a tier for inking, I practiced it on a few of my sketches but its barely any better than the default sketch so right now I don't think its worth charging people extra for.
Feel free to leave any suggestions or comments. I'm still getting used to the whole payment and commission system so I'm hoping these changes will be the last major ones.
