An update on updates.
Added 2019-05-05 01:03:19 +0000 UTCSo, the whole reason the updates exist is that you guys know that my time and your money is going toward projects. Prior to the release of TFA Pt.2, I felt more than ever that I had to update you guys, so that you knew things were on the way. Since, on the surface, a drought appeared on the channel.
Then it released and immediately after, I started working on the April fools video and Captain Marvel came soon after. From there, Game of Thrones was so upsetting that I spent a full 4 days, with very little sleep, sorting out a video for that, even though I intended to jump back into TFA and that's all alongside EFAP.
The point i'm making is that I meant to put out updates for all of these things, instead, I just worked on them. Updates don't take long for sure, they also act as a nice moment to wind down and just...talk.
But during this jump between projects, I figured that it made more sense for me to work on them and get them out instead of telling people about how i'm getting them out.
So, I guess i'm saying I probably won't have scheduled updates going forward, rather, I will choose times to make updates that I think make the most sense?.....if that makes sense......
Because, today I was like "Ahh, now to get a good chunk of the production on Part 3 started" and I was like "Oh shit, I need to update Patreon still. And then it's like, an update to tell you that work is on the way" and I figure you guys know that already, The long man takes time but the work is always on the way.
So it almost seems redundant?
I have had a crazy positive response to all of my recent releases and I figure talking about how they are on the way can only slow down the part people actually like the most......when they release.
But I know it can be reassuring to hear they are on the way, so yeah, I will probably update less and at non-scheduled times in order to just plough on with work but I figure when something important comes up or I release a bigger video, I will make a post here.
Sorry if you guys felt like I disappeared, but hopefully you have been enjoying the content either way :) as for now, I am actually prepping for TFA part 3 and I can *hopefully* begin recording the audio very soon.
There are so many things I want to do on this channel but there's no sense talking about it, need to get doing it. Thank you all for supporting my work, more is certainly coming......next up;
A Critique of TFA Part 3......coming eventually.....

I'm sure you are working on a rage video for GoT Season 8 or a Praise/Rage/Meh video for Endgame. And I can't wait to watch those videos. I was wondering how far along you are on Part 3 of TFA.

2019-06-12 15:30:47 +0000 UTCYeah honestly given the quality of your videos and projects, I’d say fuck the updates unless you feel the need. Do what works for you to keep the quality where it is or better and I expect you’ll see little in the way of frustration from fans.

2019-05-19 04:14:22 +0000 UTCI'm personally still catching up on your content, between your reviews, EFAP, and side rants, and I find all of them entertaining. So I wouldn't worry, as far as I'm concerned your doing a great job.

2019-05-09 21:32:23 +0000 UTCI do agree with Oliver here. I appreciate the amount of effort put into the TFA critique, and why you want to put that effort in, but ultimately the draw is your perspective and analysis. =3 Excellent presentation IS nice, though.

2019-05-07 04:42:57 +0000 UTCTry not to stress these things too much MauLer. Updates are of course welcome and assuring, but we're aware that videos are always on the way unless stated otherwise. Give us an update when you feel there needs to be an update. Whether that be routinely or, as you suggest here, when need be, it's important you say what you feel needs to be said, whether that's regarding current projects, future projects, or just how your day is I guess I'd like to hear that No one (hopefully) is silly enough to think that typing up a post on Patreon, Discord, YouTube or whatever is slowing down the release of content. I've seen people get mad at content creators for slowing down their release schedule and say, in the interim, taking to shitposting more often on Twitter. I can assure you that whatever it is distracting this hypothetical stawman-turned-individual, it certainly isn't the shitposting that's responsible. That's just the ramblings of a madman though. Hope MauLer and other fine folks reading this are having an excellent day :)
2019-05-05 12:16:21 +0000 UTCI think if you just posted something like "Working on a Game of Thrones Unbridled Rage" without 10 paragraphs of text and leaving it at that, that would do... I was super excited when I saw your Rage video on GoT S08E03 as I felt pretty much the same way about the whole episode. I also prefer you churning out more pieces like this instead of one super long piece about one movie. No offense and all, I understand what it means to you and I appreciate all the work going into The Force Awakens critique, but if I have the choice between that 5 parter of epic proportions or 10 videos like the one you did on GoT and Captain Marvel, I'd always vote for the latter.

2019-05-05 11:01:53 +0000 UTCIt's cool we know you Mauler take your time and get sleep as much as we love these videos they are not so important that you need to kill yourself over them with lack of sleep
2019-05-05 10:37:55 +0000 UTCThis can be your monthly diary, "Captains log, TFA 3 is in the works, GoT s8e3 was a trash fire, had a rant" Its electric but even then I think you might run out of pages.

2019-05-05 08:15:27 +0000 UTCEven your updates are long as hell haha. Really though, I'm sure we're all fine waiting so you can produce the highest quality stuff you can.
2019-05-05 02:01:17 +0000 UTCUpdates: An Unbridled Ramble You're right that we know that work is on its way and in a sense you don't need to make updates to tell us that, but it is nice to hear from you every now and then as a reassurance that things are still coming along. Irregular updates sounds like a good compromise.

2019-05-05 01:13:25 +0000 UTCThat Game of Thrones rant was so cathartic. I was so upset that I remember calling my brother on the phone to just rant about how bad the battle was for like an hour.
