April is coming...
Added 2019-02-28 17:37:02 +0000 UTCSo, Part 2 is actually done. the whole thing has been done now for about 3 days, I haven't been able to proof watch it with any peers as it simply does not survive the copyright detection for some reason.
Unlike the previous part, this one is being claimed for much smaller clips than expected. I have now re-uploaded Part two 14 times and the block is world wide, every time.
So my resolve is to keep going, find the clip in question, alter it and then try again until they give it up.
In the mean time, while rendering/uploading, I have started writing for the projects i'm planning for April fools. I guess I will go into them more so, for the next update, cause I guess I want them to be a bit of a surprise. ;)
But yeah, once Disney stops sucking the blood out of my video, I can put it through a test audience, make potential final changes and then it will be out, I literally can't tell you when that is, other than saying "As soon as possible"
I know it sucks to hear but I don't think it will be much longer.
I have proof watched the video to hell and back. It is absolutely in a state that's ready for release but you never know with these things.
We have Captain Marvel releasing very soon now, people are getting stirred up already on the obvious political angles, with Brie Larson having some choice quotes that seem to be played in all kinds of videos that are boycotting the movie.
It would seem that it is going to be discussed for everything outside of whatever it ends up being. Like everyone is preparing for sides to be split and people to be angry. It reminds me of the Ghostbusters 2016 movie.
And of course, if it's great or terrible.... I would like to cover it. But who knows what this film will be at this point. There are videos saying it's worse than TLJ and it's not even out yet, so colour me confused.
But I will go see it because man, I am straight up excited for Endgame and this film will very likely be an important puzzle piece, but let's hope it's actually good I guess :(
I dunno, life is weird and we will keep trucking along, focusing on the writing..... because man......people get really riled up over...the other stuff.

All it requires is for me to make the clips separated further, say I have a 9 second clip of something, the bot is like "You are trying to steal the movie!" So, I end up getting 2 clips, one that's 4 seconds and one that's 5 to fit the moment instead. Star Wars has a bunch of sources for me to work with and so the video ends up being slightly more so representative of what I am trying to say. There won't be any censoring and the final edit that gets out will be the strongest version.

2019-03-01 08:37:39 +0000 UTCI end up changing clips to match the thing I am talking about even more suitably if Disney complain about it, this video will escape the bots at some point but we just have to wait a little longer. Ultimately I can still get further work done, so it's not a huge loss, just wish I could get a human to watch the video and protect it from copyright claims.

YT just became pure shit in terms of copyright protection, as there's no room for creativity that riffs on films, be it a straight critique, some serious analysis or just pure comedy. I make shortened chronology re-edits of otherwise non-chronological movies (like Pulp Fiction, Memento, .etc.), and people really seem to like that. But my recent videos started getting blocked worldwide by YT and that's it - I cannot share my editing efforts with the world anymore. FUYT! At this point, it seems that the only workaround for my content is the combination of Patreon membership and some cloud storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, ...). I'll report back if I make it work. ;)
